i think Sam and Bee´s relationship is what stands out, i felt bad fro Bee when he saw Sam (almost) dead in Egypt. same with Sam in TF1 when Bee is trapped by S7.

Was hoping this thread would make a return. Yeah, again their friendship seemed great in the movie. Again it was over-shadowed by the frienship of Bumblebee and Sam, but Optimus and Sam shared some great scene's together as well.

i definetly liked that scene with him and Prime at the end of the movie

I liked Bee's/Sam's friendship too, but to me Primes/Sam's friendship stands out the most for some reason

Sam was sadder than Prime. Prime was all "we are five soldiers. Well, we ll be four now, just dont hurt the humans. Bee's sacrifice was not in vain. Awww Jazz you died too? Pity... I guess i'm alone. Drinks on me!"

It was amazing, Cullen's voice just adds so much to the character of Prime its unbelievable. Can you imagine Liam Neeson voicing him instead as they originally wanted? Just wouldnt have been the same for me.

I read somewhere that they based Prime's movements, gestures and mannerisms on Neeson, because he is such a gentleman. I always though of him that way. He has such a presence and such an aura. And he channeled all that in Batman Begins when he was training Bruce (he ended up being evil... but thats another issue). I mean, if Prime was a human and they needed an actor, he would be my first choice.
As for his voice, he is already voicing Aslan, the lion. So i suppose he has that thing going for him. I think that with some post production editing (like Cullen's already has received to sound like a robot) he could make a perfect Prime. But not as long as Cullen can use his vocal cords....

Neeson can do the voice for Ultra Magnus.

I really enjoyed the meeting between Prime & Sam in the abandoned cemetery . Cullen was amazing in his voice performance . Shia was also pretty good in that scene . You really bought into the scene that these two . I love Optimus line about Destiny

Magnus is such a dork. I hope they introduce a more interesting character than his. We already have 8 autobots and only 4 of them have been developed. Two of them more than necessary! I say lets give some screentime to rest of them first.
