I just done see why so many people have a hard on for Unicron, not having a go at anyone, but from my personal point of view Unicron should be used in the final movie, as the final threat, because if you use him too early then how are you going to up the ante in the next movie?

I think they should save Unicron for the final movie as you arent going to get a bigger threat in the TF universe than that IMO.

i think this should be the final movie from Bay&co
you can not top the forest fight with Optimus. plus people will get tyred of a franchise. i think this happened with spiderman and POTC.

Honestly if they make a fourth one, I suspect due to the movies having the same producers and what not, they will do that TF/G.I. Joe crossover.

Unless TF3 is an outright flop, I think they'll continue the franchise for as long as it is profitable. Bay may not continue directing past part 3, but I'd be surprised not to see him still involved as a producer.

I say we need to see a truly epic sequel but if the storytelling is as jumpy as ROTF then we're in for a movie that people "love" just like Spiderman 3, X-men 3, and Harry Potter 6.

^Exactly, so I very much doubt we are only getting 3 Transformers movies, especially if the 3rd one makes more than ROTF.

I actually am thinking more and more that Shockwave with his own Decepticon faction would VERY interesting.

Although highly unlikely that it would ever happen but since the good guy always tends to turn evil in the third movie, how about a "Prime Evil"? With Optimus Prime absorbing the raw power of the Matrix/Nexus Of Power maybe it could of somehow had a negative effect on him later on & he ends up joining forces with the Decepticons for most of the movie.

^Na, sorry, but couldnt see it happening at all, plenty of dark forces have tried to sway Prime in the comics, but it rarely if ever gets the best of him.

I think one good thing that could happen in TF3 like that which happened in the comics though, is if the Decepticon's brought back Jazz, lobotomized him and then sent him against the Autobots in a fight, that could be cool.

I still would like to see Shockwave with his own faction of Decepticons, they would originally join up with Megatron but Megatron and Shockwave have a fight, which ends in a stand still and Shockwave leaves with his band of Decepticons, we then get a 3 way final battle which would be amazing.

^Np was a great villain in the comics, the only problem is a lot of his storyline is similar to The Fallen's in ROTF, which is a shame, as I had hoped to see Nemesis Prime and Jhiaxus as the villains in a TF movie some day.

I don't think we'll be seeing Unicron either. It kinda sounds like they may be doing a loose adaption of episode "Megatron's Master Plan" from the cartoon.

Unicron...anyone else just wouldn't be right to have for the third film in this trilogy. As others have said, i'm sure they will make more than three but for right now i'm going to look at this franchise as a trilogy under Bay before they start over with a new director.

I honestly am baffled that people want Megatron to be the bad guy yet again. That's just as horrible as the Superman fans that want the villian in the next Supes film to be Luthor...for the fifth time!

The Decepticons managed to trick people into thinking the Autobots were the bad guys and that they had brainwashed them into committing their past crimes.

I don't really see a problem with Megatron being the main villain again. One criticism that I've had about the films is that they've portrayed him as just some dumb brute. We didn't see him until the end of TF1 where he was basicly having a tantrum and then just an underling to the Fallen in ROTF. It'd be nice to see him have a plan of some sort and calling the shots.
