Who is the most Agile in the Marvel U?

Taskmaster has a limit though. He can only replicate what his body can pull off if I'm not mistaken.

Why are some people saying that technically the strongest hero would be the fastest? I mean, that's like saying bodybuilders have the strongest legs so they should automatically be able to run the fastest. That's obviously not true.

Also, Nightcrawler fought Beast in the early Claremont run, and its stated that Beast is more agile.

It should work for Captain America. The SSS makes him peak human across the board. So he should be the strongest a human can be while retaining the most agility a human can have too.

The ability to move is based on muscle, yes runners have to have leaner builds because the extra weight from huge pecs would probably slow them down. For short distance the ideal muscle tone is probably higher than for long distance where the extra weight from the muscle tends tends to tire you out, or at least that's what I seem to be finding from a google search (I'm not an expert myself).

The myth that having more muscle slows you down, however, isn't true. The only way that having too much muscle becomes an issue is when your muscles get so big that they restrict your ability to move in certain ways (You know those body builders who can put their arms down because their muscles are too big. )

Well that doesn't make sense. So he could only be as agile as the most agile person. Making it a tie. That wouldn't make him number 1.

Spider-Man
Puma
Spider-Girl
Night Crawler
Nocturne

With the best probably being Spider-Girl, women naturally being more limber then men.

Good list. I don't know why anyone would list Captain America, the Black Panther, or any martial artists, personally. Those people are all only, at best, as agile as a normal human being is capable of becoming. Given that there are plenty of superhumanly agile characters in the Marvel universe, Cap, BP, etc. should be out of the running by default.

It's pointing out how in Cap's case being strong and bulky doesn't impose on his speed and agility, which was the current point being addressed.

Isn't Black Panther superhuman? Doesn't the heart shaped herb he ate after becoming the King of Wakanda amp up his senses and physical abilities? Between the suit and the powers from the herb, he should be considered as super human. No Spidey or Beast to be sure, but above someone like Shang-Chi.

But yeah, BP has no place on the list with some of those other guys, and even though Frank Miller made a big deal about Cap's movement and stuff in Born Again, he's just outclassed here.

See, that's why I brought up BP..if he was just a studly human with great reflexes I don't think he'd make the cut, but with his boosted abilities I figured he might make a better case for at least being considered for the poll..

On another possible addition...I don't think she'd be top by any stretch, but where would Tigra fall in this mix? She's always seemed pretty light on her feet...

Look at your olympic class acrobats and gymnasts..they are well built and have significant muscle mass...

The men gymnasts in this catagory can probably bench 250 pounds..and the world record for bench press is only around 750 pounds.

thats a difference of only 500 pounds or so.

Now imagine a world record gymnast and compare his strength difference to someone who can bench 10 tons!

That is a truly staggering difference in power.

As I understand it, the heart-shaped herb does exactly to the Black Panther what the Super-Soldier Serum does to Captain America: It brings them to the absolute peak of human physical potential in all areas. While the combination of those areas at their maximum level might qualify as superhuman (since no normal human could ever achieve that simply by training or exercising), no one area (like, say, agility) is superhuman.

Nightcrawler, Cap and the Panther have been said by Marvel to be peak human. Daredevil is enhanced human as is Wolverine, Sabretooth, She-Hulk and Callisto. Above them are the gods, Eternals, Beast, Scorpion, the Sphinx and undoubtedly a number of others I can't think of at the moment. In the top category with Spidey are Apocalypse, Gladiator, the Symbiotes, the Silver Surfer. Many of those who are superhumanly strong are also super fast and agile although not all.

Taskmaster can temporarily increase his speed and agility by watching kung fu films in fast forward. No, I'm not making that up!

And Shatterstar? lol. Deadpool literally annihalated the guy back in New Mutants. Pissed all over him. So if you wanna mention Shatterstar, you gotta mention Deadpool. And as much as a fan of Deadpool as I am, he ain't that agile. He is about Captain America levels.

thats a pretty short list but I would have to say that Spidey is the most agile.
