The CW's doing a marathon all this week. I hadn't seen the first two episodes of the season when they first aired, so I watched last night.

TheCW should really mix it up and put Nikita in the marathon so it can get to more people. They shouldve done it with Melrose Place last year.

I wonder how many Seasons it will be before Elena becomes a Vampire & dies & comes back as a Human like in the books ? & there's the whole Stefan getting trapped in a Hell Dimension thing & Damon becoming human again

The series Is only loosly from the books.Elena Is bit different from what I read online than the books version.Elena has a little sister and not teenage brother In the books.
And there have been other changes from my reasch online and from the bonus features on the DVD.

I am not sure how I feel about Damon becoming Human again on the show. But I hope they do some of that stuff

'Vampire Diaries' Spin-Off in the Works?

Good news for Vampire Diaries fans: the show's creator, Kevin Williamson, has reportedly been tapped to create a spin-off from the series for the CW.

E! Online reports that Kevin and the CW are developing a "companion" series for the hit vampire-centric show.

According to insiders, the new one-hour drama will follow a group of investigators whose speciality is dealing with paranormal activity. The project is still in the development stages and insiders say that it is unclear if any of the TVD characters will cross over between the two shows, but the new potential show has already snagged TVD executive producer Julie Plec.

According to E!, the currently unnamed project will be under consideration for the CW's upcoming 2011-2012 season.

This series has gotten quite a bit more interesting than I thought it was going to, mostly because it moved away from feeling like a Twilight rip-off and throws in lots of twists.

Stefan annoys me. He just has too much of the whole "virtuous smug hero" thing. Damon is far more entertaining, and is a major reason I keep watching. Katherine and Elijah are pretty good antagonists so far.

Oh and Bonnie is annoying as hell too, but Jeremy is super cute.

I doubt the books story we'll be followed closely, I feel like Williamson's pretty much a master of taking loose things from books and making it an entirely different vehicle/story. See I Know What You Did Last Summer. NO ONE died in that book and the killer wasn't the same.

itryed getting into vampire ddaires. i just cant it kind of like twlgith if you wont good vamper show i reocmmed moonlight it about vamperwhos a dectied and fights bad guys it got Alex o' LOUGHL in it. now playing as cop for hawie five or the hit doctro serei three rivers.

Click to Read!: yea so, read a couple things, werewolves are coming back before the season is over, maybe they can get some just do, the name of the final episode is "as I lay here dying" and a promo shot for the show, has elena in a red dress and it says "Born to Die" which leads me to believe that they will possibly go that route and turn her......and kill off katherine, because it would be stupid to have the both of them be around..... But yea, I like the whole 'sun and moon' thing, just wish the fight wasn't so one sided
