seriously, i'm getting a vibe that a lot of people on here haven't seen many movies.

Unless I missed the part where Wolverine fought Stryker's men on ice skates for no freaking reason at all, and Creed made a billion terrible puns about being a sabertooth or something which sounded made up by a 3 year old, and Wolverine wore a uniform with nipples and drove around flashing an X-Men credit card, Batman & Robin makes Wolverine look magnificent (and I didn't like Wolverine).

Batman & Robin is far from the worst movie ever. It's in the so bad it's good category. There are some movies that are just BAD.

I think people had high expectations for certain movies and they were disappointed and they're calling them "The worst movies ever" out of spite.

Yeah, I know a poster said, "bah! Ur StupId if u sAy TranSFOrmErs 2."

But seriously. Transformers 2.

I'm not saying it because I'm a trendy fanboy. Because I'm not.

It was the 1st movie where I checked my watch every 10 minutes. And it's the only movie where I hated every single second of it. It's not even a good kind of bad. Like, a Toxic Avenger or Plan 9 bad. It's just bad. There's not even one scene that's kind of cool.

It's a ****ing time vampire too. Suckin' away all my time.

It's the worst sequel and the worst movie I've ever seen.

I admit, most will hate me for saying this, I enjoyed Batman and Robin more than TDK. So there, I said it. Anyway, can we include Ed Wood movies? Is that cheap?

Well, I hated the Spirit and Transformers 2. Bad, bad, bad.

You don't have to go in depth with details, but I would like clarification.
Just a summarized version, if you don't mind.

Ok, well I'll make this brief. People will disagree, maybe some will agree, but it is my opinion.

I hear people who walk into a movie like Transformers 2 with an open mind, expecting it to not be cinematic genius. I feel when people watch Batman and Robin, they compare it to TDK or Burtons Batman. When I watch Batman and Robin, I go in with that open mindset, I watch it for sheer entertainment. I will quote the AVGN "it's treated as a comedy, and a throw back to the original series." I find TDK to be rather dull, unlike Batman and Robin, which I find awesomely cheesy and hilarious (in the good and bad way). It's also way nicer to look at. Visually it's spectacular, cinematography and everything. I've never been a fan of the 'dark, shaky, gritty' style of movies, I'm a more 'cinematic' kind of guy.

For me, I'd rather watch Batman and Robin on a rainy Sunday afternoon than TDK. Based on entertainment value.

I don't watch films that are obvious crap, like Date Movie, Save The Last Dance, or Doom, so its been a really long time since I've seen a garbage movie. The first thing off the top of my head was some ridiculous Pauly Shore movie about him serving jury duty. It may be called Jury Duty, but I'm not wasting my time checking on the title. Another movie I remember being horrible was an E.T. knock-off called "Mac & Me".

Well it is more accessible because of its crap nature, I agree with you there. However, I think we can agree that it most certainly is not the better film.

I agree with this, though technically TDK was the better film, I probably like it the same as B&R.

Also, Ed Wood films are usually in the "so bad it's good" category. Plan 9 was gold. GOLD!

This is true. I do respect Christopher Nolan.

X Files 2 and SR are on the list? Really?

Granted SR is polarizing, but it has a lot of things going for it that a lot of other pics on the list don't. Not to mention X-Files 2 wasn't exactly a great finale to the series -- but it was watchable and even fun at times.

I'd happily watch those two movies than Date Movie or the other candidates on this list. (Speaking of which, why aren't the Bayformers movies in the list?)

HAhaahah, yes! None of these movies listed in the poll even come near to the kind of movies MST3K went through. Those were unbelievable. There are too many to list, way too many that were infinitely worse than Batman and Robin. The only "big" movie that has come out recently I can think of that can take on any kind of comparison has to be The Happening and that's not even listed.

Anyone can make a boring movie, tons of them come out every year, either on screen or straight to dvd. They aren't anything special, a dime a dozen. But The Happening is an achievement that I don't know will be surpassed in this day and age of movie making. I literally could not believe what I watching, the dialogue, the "plot", the acting. It was some of the worst I've ever seen. And I've seen a LOT of bad movies being MST3K fan.

I've heard there's a film called "The Room" and it has long lines to see it when they show it somewhere in the U.S. it's meant to be so bad it's good. The story, acting and the film is out of focus. They couldn't even get that right. I've never seen it I just heard about it on the news.
