Since SHH has asked us to make a new thread on this topic I have created this poll. Some choices are new but most are some of the same that have been around for years. Newcomers beware sub-par suggestions are not appreciated (trust me alot of people take casting this character very seriously including me). So the question must be asked "Who would you cast for the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman?"

Minus a few choices, they're all pretty good.

Lol you were? Well I'm flattered.
![]() And I know what you mean. Alot of the choices I had in the other one which many people didn't like were just names mentioned around that time.

I know she isn't a popular choice and I've gotten flack for suggesting her, but my favorite choice for Catwoman is still Shawnee Smith. She may not have won any Oscars but she's got acting skills and has the acting and talent to do the character justice, IMO. My second pick would be Lena Headey. Has the look and going by The Sarah Connor Chronicles is also a good actress.

Shawnee Smith is kind of... boring. And not that great looking either.
Headey is a MUCH better choice.

Should've put Miley Cyrus as an option and made it a public poll so we could weed 'em out.

Rachel McAdams, Anne Hathaway, or Rosario Dawson. The other choices are good but those are just my top 3. Oh and if it where Ivy, I just had some idea of Meryle Streep.

Man, I have to vote again. At least some of the more obnoxious names have been removed, although how Eliza is still here is beyond me.

I'm still with Marion Cotillard, Thandie Newton, Jolie and Theron.
Marion is my favorite but Thandie Newton is growing on me. And I just know that Jolie and Theron can bring it in a serious role. There are other great choices but those are the one's I'm feeling.

That is one great pic of Beckinsale!
As for Thandie, I think shes a pretty underrated actress. She defiently needs some better roles. But she just seems too fraile for Catwoman.

I second this.
Anyway, i am with Marion on this. I never liked Jolie. Since she is regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the world, i suppose that thousands of people find her beautiful so maybe i am the weird one. I just cant stand her bloated facial characteristics. Not to mention that i find her too dynamic for Bale. She will steal his thunder imho. Cotillard then for me, with Bekinsale as a second choice. |
