Default Megamind (DreamWorks Animation)

http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/08/16/...-in-oobermind/

they designed IMO Oobermind based on RDJ. so will they change it now? because Farrell's voice doesnt fit with this kind of face.
i think RDJ vopie and acting would really fit with this character.

Metro-man is voiced by Brad Pitt?
dreamworks. you still didnt learn anything form pixar?

Wow, I've never seen a computer-animated superhero movie before! Seriously, use your imagination, Dreamworks.

Though I will say, I kinda liked Monsters vs. Aliens.

i wish it was still called Oobermind. Megamind lacks the charm of the orginal title.

I'm looking forward to this since Pixar seems to have forgotten one of it's best animated movies. (The Incredibles!!)

Full trailer now online. Seems like it could be more of a superhero spoof as opposed to slight satire like Incredibles.

it looks like i was watching the trailer for the wrong movie.

because this is the description of the movie from comicgsoon
''When super villain Megamind (Ferrell) defeats his archrival Metro Man (Pitt), the world should be his oyster. But instead, Megamind falls into total despair. It turns out that life without a rival is life without a point for him. So, he creates a new superhero rival, Titan (Hill). Unfortunately, the new hero wants to be a super villain, too. Caught in the middle, star reporter Roxanne Ritchi (Fey) asks the tough questions: Who can we turn to? Who has what it takes to stand up to this menace? Who will defend the innocent? Megamind! That's who.''

so let me see if i get this right. in the plot summary they spoiled the whole movie. that he defeats the hero and that the young guy(Hill) in the trailer will become a new supervillain. but in the trailer they promote it like a normal superhero movie? and was supermans origing supposed to be a joke or what? because it didnt work since it was a cheap copy.

Is it me or does Brad Pitt sound a lot like George Clooney in this?

About the trailer though, it seems enjoyable and it will be a big hit with the kids.

New trailer:

http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/dreamworks/megamind/

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Hmmm.....seems like Metro Man DOESN'T DIE, after all. Just survives his attempted murder and retires. DAMNIT, I should've known that Dreamworks Animation didn't have that kind of balls after all!

Unless that's a completely different character......

Strange... I kind of wish they hadn't released this new trailer because now I'm not going to be surprised when I see the movie. They should have kept the true plot under-wraps because it looks to be pretty good.

Even Pixar had the gall to kill off characters that were the good guys in Incredibles, even if it was just implied.

Honestly, does ever single f**king comedy have to have that damn Cobrastyle song in the trailer? That song is so annoying at this point I'm surprised nobody automatically tunes out when they hear it.
