I've watched a few episodes....it's better than I expected.

First thing of note....he has worked with this particular Sheriffs office for 20 years now. This isn't something new for him.

He was teaching a guy how to be a better shooter....he set up some Q-tips and wooden matches....and shot the heads off of them. He's a better shot than I would have thought.
