I'm going crazy trying to find this shot. It's the one where Clark (in his blue shirt) is holding up the red blanket and lookin at it, like it's going to be his cape. I thought it was in season 4, but I was wrong. Can anyone help?

Yeah, Action.
The actress in the movie gave Clark the cape that Warrior Angel wore in the film because he was a hero like the character. So, it wasn't a blanket, it was an actual cape, made for the movie, not for Clark.

That's the one, thanks! I should've asked first before I fruitlessly scoured season 4.

Well, I believe the earliest incarnation of the classic "Clark" look occurred in Season One, Episode Nine: Rogue. At on point in the episode, Clark wears a navy jacket with a red shirt underneath, but also with a white shirt under that. I'm pretty sure that's the first instance with the red/blue combination, but it obviously isn't the standard red jacket/blue shirt deal.

Well, based on 1.9 "Rogue", the blue/red was actually seen before the red/blue. Interesting.

They'd changed costume designers from the first season to the second, I believe, which is why the costumes looked different that first year. (Clark wore so many different and darker colors, which Tom looks good in with his coloring.) However, I don't know when the red jacket first made its appearance.

Yea i been wondering for awhile now when was it the first time for the now famous red jacket, with blue tshirt. Then the black jacket, with red tshirt. I have seen all episodes of the series but its been awhile since i watched some of the more earlier episodes.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the red jacket and blue shirt briefly shows up in one of the final episodes of season 1. I remember seeing and thinking wow I didn't remember him wearing that so early in the show.

i did bring up a good question, huh guys. Though since their has been like 170+ episodes to the series its hard to remember what was the first time for certain details and all that.

Well Clark at least wears a red jacket as early as episode 12 of season 1. So that may be what I was thinking about.

I know this is off-topic, but I'm trying to remember a bit from 'Lois & Clark.' The pair come into Lois's office, where they find some dude on Lois's computer. Lois is like "how did you do that? I have a password!" The guy is like: "'Superman'? It wasn't that hard to figure out." I'm 99% positive it's from the first season of that show.

I think you are thinking of the episode "Action" in S7. The actress gives Clark the cape as a gift for saving her.
