MJ is always cheating on Pete. I think it would be a good dilemma for Spider-Man. MJ is pregnant and he is seduced by Black Cat,so he contemplates leaving her. But when Spidey rebuffs her,she joins up with another villain or something.

It doesn't matter if Blackcat resembles too much of Catwoman.
However, I would like to see Blackcat to more as of an ally than as an enemy.
Not to mention that I highly doubt that Catwoman will appear in future Batman movies.

Yes, well she should become an ally later on.

About a love triangle, many don't want that anymore and so, but I don't want to see Black Cat for a love triangle and other such bs, no, I don't care about that, I want her to be involved more in action scenes, she should be a very mysterious character at first. Regarding fights, she could be battling Spidey, then probably aid him in a battle against a villain. Almost anything can work with a good writer and a good script.

I agree. Spider-Man 4 really needs to stay away from the soap opera routine. I dont mind that in the past movies. But they really need more action scenes and rather simple story.

Black Cat however could be mysterious. Like the Joker in TDK. The less we know about the villain the better. Specially in Spider-Mans case. Keep it a simple story.

Batman's true love and his third best villain not being included in future movies? I very much doubt that. In fact, I'd be very surprised if she weren't in the next one.

I'm not a big fan of the Black Cat, and I don't think there's much substance to her character, nor do I think she's that interesting on her own. I think having her in Spider-man 4 in the capacity that people want would be too much like what happened with Gwen in Spider-man 3.

...and it resulted in Spider-man 3. Raimi has already said Spider-man 4 is his project and he won't be pressured into doing anything he doesn't want. He has full creative control. I don't remember him ever saying he doesn't like Black Cat though, and I do remember rumours of her being in Spider-man 2.

I'm just not interested in her character, and I'd prefer to see others on screen first. I wouldn't know who to cast as her either, because I don't think she'd attract a high caliber actress. I know Spider-man fans don't like it, but I think most would view her as a Catwoman ripoff and I think people would be a bit hesitant to sign on to play her. If she were going to be in the movie, though, it would be very important not just to cast some hot, pouty girl as her. You'd need someone of substance and class, otherwise she'd just become a parody of herself.

I'm thinking Sarah Michelle Gellar. I know that people are scoffing because of what I said in the last paragraph, but I have an odd level of respect for SMG that I can't explain. I have always sort of wished she was cast as Rachel in Batman Begins instead of Katie Holmes. Feel free to rip me to shreds on this one, though.

When they were playing with th eidea of putting her in spider-man2 Raimi wanted Eliza Dushku in the role, and she's anything but the description you just posted.
I take it your description is in regards to Kirsten Dunst? Not that I agree with your assessment but it's a common gripe I've noticed. I'd rather have an actress that had actual chemitry with McGuire than have someone who had more 'supermodel' type looks. I thought she looked cute in the latest, SM3.

I would have to agree with the Dushku casting. In her early Buffy episodes she *was* the Black Cat, wanting Buffy to leave behind all the humdrum(in her eyes) everyday things like her family and friends and hang out only in superpowered 'superhero' mode. Not necesarily in the honourable way of fighting evil all the time but living for the thrills and kicks of superpowers. Just like the Black Cat did with Spider-man, she would wonder why he wanted to be Peter Parker at all.

I don't understand why BC would e in a moie in the 1st place. Spidey hardly gets screen time as it is. With regards to the looks department of the leading ladies, Raimi in all 3 spidey flicks always has the hot chicks as extras in the movie. I'm sory but MJ, Gwen, Betty are all good looking chicas. I'm still astounded that they made Liz Banks look so average in these movies.

Get good looking actresses that can act and have chemistry with the leading man. If it means recasting Tobey in favour of a more capable actor then so be it.

Black Cat could be great for more Spidey screentime. So far in the films Spidey only shows up for very expensive action set-pieces, so we don't get him that much. With Black Cat he would be onscreen with another supercharacter, but not fighting them , or even doing anything necesarily action based, conversations, flirting etc. I always wanted Spidey in scenes just hanging from the ceiling etc, in Spider poses, having conversations with people. Closest we got to this was the elevator scene in SM2.

Man, I always thought Liz Banks looked a-ok in the movies, I've always been partial to the Betty Bob type of hairdo on a girl. I thought whatsherface who played Gwen looked great too, I liked her in the village beofre that as a natural red-head, but she suited the blonde dye too. Nice way about her too.

Hollywood is full of 'hot chicks' and 'hot guys' trying their hand, not too many of them can act well though, that's why they end up as extras.
