2009: What got your money?

I made a similar thread last year. 2008 was the first year I kept count and I saw 30 flicks in theaters. For 2009, I reached the 30 mark early. I got there last night with Paranormal Activity and I'll break my record on Friday with Where the Wild Things Are.

So how many different movies have you seen in theaters this year? Give a number and list if you'd like. Here's mine:

I saw Slumdog Millionaire this year but didn't count it since it was a December 2008 release. And I've seen several of the movies on my list multiple times; I just counted the different ones.

I'm very iffy on IMAX after seeing Paranormal Activity last night. I saw it on an IMAX screen and it gave me a huge headache because our seats were too close. I've never seen a true IMAX movie but I doubt I'd want to now unless I could sit in the very back row. It kills my head to have to continuously move my eyes around the screen.

I saw Slumdog Millionaire this year but didn't count it since it was a December 2008 release. And I've seen several of the movies on my list multiple times; I just counted the different ones. I'm very iffy on IMAX after seeing Paranormal Activity last night. I saw it on an IMAX screen and it gave me a huge headache because our seats were too close. I've never seen a true IMAX movie but I doubt I'd want to now unless I could sit in the very back row. It kills my head to have to continuously move my eyes around the screen. __________________ Sometimes to do what's right, we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most.
