Adblock Plus

Good program but it leaves a placement box on blocked ads where the ads used to be. Anyway to fix this & hide the box ?

I have no idea what you're talking about, but I assume you've looked under options and checked some of the options there.

what subscription did you use?

My Harddrive died this morning so I had to buy a new one and am starting from scratch, so can someone tell me what to click on adblock so that all the adds on all the various sites no longer annoy me?

- Install AdBlock Plus
- Go here
- Then just click 'Add to ABP' on any subscription you wish to add

EasyList is automatically added when you install ABP. I recommend adding EasyPrivacy & Adult/Dating Blocking. The others aren't really necessary unless you browse international sites.

Did the Adblock Plus do today's latest update and now instead of actually hiding the ads as it usually does, the ads are just showing up anyway? I uninstalled it and re-installed it, and checked the filters, but apparently they're not staying in place.
