Pretty much every act of violence by Liam Neeson in Taken. Watching it once again, every punch, kick or gunshot feels like it could take a man's head off.

Cannon ball takes off a few legs and then a head in The Patriot.

Joe Pesci's death in Casino. Still can't watch it all the way through. Eat your heart out, Saw movies.

Not exactly a movie, but the intro to the Tales From The Crypt television series leading into the Crypt Keeper's mansion and then into the crypt when he bursts out of his coffin and laughs always got to me as a kid.

lol, that's the only thing that has gotten me recently. It was a blast seeing that in like the fourth of fifth row at an imax screening and almost

In Aliens (again), when the Queen falls down the airlock shaft and pulls Ripley and the power loader down with her. Sigourney's blood-curdling scream as she falls really tops it off.

Man, I practically jumped out of my seat the first time I heard that. Eckhart sure can shout.
Yeah, the part where Dent practically screams that at the top of his ****ing lungs ALWAYS mades me jump because of how LOUD it is!

Public Enemies- Every time a gun is fired. For Pete's f-ing SAKE Michael Mann, are you trying to give everyone in the audience a heart attack AND make them deaf AT THE SAME TIME?! If so, then your plan's working!

The same can be said about anything Eli Roth makes. And I don't mean all the gory stuff, lol....

I take it you haven't seen Jurassic Park, Revenge of the Sith, Kill Bill, Goodfellas and the other almost a dozen movies he's been killed off in.

I have actually. This particular film I have a gripe with because he was making a big speech and THE SHARK EATS HIM JUST AS HE'S ABOUT TO FINISH IT! WTF?

The ending of Halloween where after Michael falls out the window and Loomis looks out and he's gone then the music plays and you hear Michael's breathing. Still gives me the chills everytime I see it.

It's called humor. Nothing in that movie was to be taken seriously.

I know. Feast did it PERFECTLY. Here it was meant to be serious (as far as the screenwriter knew) and it felt cheap!

That scene was funny as hell. I figured it meant they were out of money to pay him.

The hand busting up from the grave at the end of Carrie gets me everytime even though I knew it was coming.

Not really jump inducing, but Cloverfield consistently scares the crap out of me. I love the movie, but it's a chilling thought to think about what I'd do in such a situation.

Pretty much every second of the trailer fight in Kill Bill Vol. 2, specifically the heel stomp, the double kick, and the eyeball snatch.

The final scene in the movie Quarantine when Jennifer Carpenter's character is feeling around in the dark after the night vision of the camera goes out...and before it goes out you can see someone/something lurking in the room with her!

Dead Ben Gardner who looks like Benjamin Franklin popping out and scaring Hooper at the bottom of the boat in Jaws. I swear to God, I watched the movie on Sunday and for the first time, and I didn't fast forward it.

During the nightclub scene in Collateral when Vincent snaps a guy's leg in half with one swift kick.

The above was the brutal dentist scene in Marathon Man of course.
Spoilers ahead for The Departed, Clockwork Orange and Oldboy.... Can't use spoiler tags on my smart phone for some reason, so scroll past if you haven't seen the following.

Some others that shocked me... Leo getting capped in the head at the end of The Departed shocked the hell out of me too. Not so much because the protagonist died, but because it was so quick and unsentimental.

Alex beating the old man and raping the woman while singing in A Clockwork Orange.

Oh Daesu finding out he's been screwing his daughter in Oldboy. And then cutting out his tongue.
