I guess I'll start the thread off with the first question: What do we care about most: Brother Voodoo or a supersized McChicken combo from Mcdonald's?

From what I hear, Brother Voodoo's comic had a strong start. I haven't read it, but I'm hearing good things.

I'm still not buying it, but that's the rumor.

I enjoyed the first issue. It felt like they were trying a bit too hard to point out that Voodoo was more edgy and super-awesome than Dr. Strange could ever hope to be, but other than that I enjoyed the first issue a lot.

Then again, I do loves me some McChicken sandwiches. Take the lettuce out and it's fried chicken, mayonnaise, and bread. A simple yet delicious heartstopper just like God intended.

Well, I'm a vegetarian so I guess Brother Voodoo by default. ****. I still need to check out that first issue.

I flipped through a recent BV comic and couldn't get into it. Plus I wasn't fond of the art. So I'll definately say "One McChicken Please"!

The artist was all right. Only thing I didn't like was how he made Dr. Strange look like Colonel Sanders.

It is very good in my opinion. I definately recommend it if you've read The Twelve, but even if you haven't, it's a good read. Better than The Twelve was if you ask me, and i'm one of the few who actually liked The Twelve.

Not yet, no. The only person who knows anything special about Hope is Elixer from X-Force, which he learned somehow during Messiah War, but he's been in a coma ever since so we don't actually know what he's learned.

So yeah, Hope is still a mystery.

can you dent Captain America's shield. in posters and covers you always see bullet marks, dents, and scratches all over it, and it's usually just artist's choice for effect, but isn't vibranium supposed to be stronger than adamantium?

In reverse order:
No.
Thor dented it once
it can be "torn apart" @ the molecular level
But that denting scratching stuff if seen is definetly Artistic license.

The vibranium alloy that Cap's shield is made of is stronger than adamantium. Vibranium on its own is not, although it has other properties that still make it valuable (both the Wakandan and the Antarctic versions). No one quite knows how Cap's shield was made because its creation was an accident. Adamantium, I think, has actually been described as an inferior attempt to duplicate the process that made Cap's shield.

And yes, it can be dented in spite of its toughness and ability to absorb impact. You just have to be really, really, really, really, really, ridiculously strong to do it. Thor, when he had the Odinpower, hit Cap's shield so hard it got dented. He also popped the dent back out, restoring it to normal.

What? My answer too short?

Has anybody actually stayed in the Darkforce dimension? Cloak and Darkstar use it for their powers but what's it like in there?

Cloak and Dagger have stayed in there for short periods of time and Dr. Strange was there for a short time as well. There is nothing in that whole universe except Darkforce and one demon who hangs around the portal created by Cloak's powers. At least as far as has been shown so far.

I was looking over Marvel's catalouge in hopes to see an upcoming apperance by Iron Fist, but didn't seem to find one? Did I overlook something? I've been wanting to get into Iron Fist for a bit, and now that I'm able to, I can't find anything with him.

Eh so is Marvel seriously making the mainstream Punisher into a Terminator robot since the aging character is getting too old. This way they can ensure Punisher is in best health and whatnot forever?

Iron Fist's title "The Immortal Iron Fist" was 'put on hiatus' and we don't know what's going to become of it for the time being. I recommend reading it though, it's awesome.

In its place there is a mini called "Immortal Weapons" that is coming out, issue 4 (of 5) just hit this week. It focuses on the Immortal Weapon characters who debuted in the second arc of Immortal Iron Fist and made appearances throughout the rest of the series. There is a small story continuing through these minis as a backup story that stars Iron Fist, so at least that's something.

Iron Fist also stared in the most recent issue of Thunderbolts. It was the Thunderbolts's title, but it might as well have been a comic staring Iron Fist and Luke Cage... they were THAT prominant in it. And it was really good.

So that's some stuff you can look into. All of it is good, though the Immortal Weapons mini has been a little hit and miss per issue.

I honestly doubt that's the reason they're doing the whole Frankencastle deal. I think that Remender just wants to play around with the character some. Not like Punisher fans are probably ever going to accept anything outside MAX territory anyway, so they are just screwing around with a nutty idea.
