Here's a final on another sketch I did.
![]() My next thing will be a more cartoon-style thing for the Jan contest, whatever it may be, but untill then, let me know what you think.

FINAL!
This is just a for fun pic I did, since I love the female Batman villains. The idea being it's Harley's house and she's decorated in her favorite colors... ![]()

My Leela pic...
Not completely happy with this, but I lost steam when I had to recreate the final from the scan of a printout, after I lost the file. Anyway, I threw in some blood, and called it a day! ![]() ![]() Let me know what you think.

Here's my June entry...
Been busting this one out today, because I kinda thought I might lose motivation after I see the movie... ![]() This is obviously (i hope) a pic of the Surfer and the Human Torch going head to head, since that seems to be something that is gonna happen in the movie (based on the trailer). No sign of Galactus in the trailer, but I had to fill the background. ![]() ![]()

So Dew k. Mosi started a new thread similar to the monthly contests... except its not at all a contest. It's just a causal thread where there's gonna be a theme (maybe every two weeks or so) and the idea is to take that theme and run with it...
It's called DrawerGeeks, and so far, I'm loving it! The first theme was Galactus, and I JUST did Galactus in my fanart contest entry, so I was thinking of a fun, less-literal way to do him... This is what I came up with: ![]()

Did this as a nice quick little piece, for KAD's thread entitled 'Crazy Idea', where he asked if people would do their take on female characters.
Here's a link to the thread, if you want to check it out and join in. Anyway, here's the final pic, in honor of KAD's daughter's birth: ![]() I reused a few things from other pics of mine... Her head and hair are altered versions of Rogue's from my Juggernaut pic, and the chained hands are a variation of Robin's from my 'Women of Batman' pic. Hope you like it, KAD!... and I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.

![]() I was going for a little less literal take, so I hope you guys like it! Let me know what you think.

I was ALL OVER the place with ideas for this month's contest, but I settled on 'Castlevania' cause I love the game and also since I have monsters on the brain after watching 'Monster Squad' recently.
![]() I tried to include monsters from some of the early NES games (like flying Medusa heads, Skeletons that throw bones @ you, etc.)

Here's My Hero Sell-Out contest entry.
I did Nascar Batman based on the idea of the car with all the logos, but I threw in a Car-Model-Batgirl for good measure. ![]() Let me know what you think!

So I f-ing love Guillermo Del Toro and everything he stands for. I loved 'Blade 2'. I love that on the 'Blade 2' commentary he essentially says he made the movie to test stuff out for 'Hellboy'. I love 'Hellboy'. I can't wait for 'Hellboy 2'.... But more than anything, I was floored by the masterpiece, 'Pan's Labyrinth'. If you haven't seen it... Well, rent it... It's creepy, uplifting, depressing, and beautiful all at the same time. So I decided to do a pic that features some of the fantasy elements for the movie... The Faun, the fairies, and the freaking crack-out tree that also plays a role in the movie... ![]() Hope you dig it!

Here's my Valentine-themed fanart contest submission... The theme had SO many possibilities and I just kinda got stuck with this couple in mind and couldn't really shake the idea. Wish it could have been a funnier pairing, but what are you gonna do, right? Anyway... ![]() Hope you like it! Let me know what you think, AND vote for me in the contest @ the end of the month, assuming you like it, of course.

Final! This is the currently-referred-to-as final version of my Ivy Falling picture I've been working on. I was trying to get more depth, once again, and this time trying for a more dynamic pose... There was some issue of the water @ the bottom looking like the sky. I added some rocks in the water, spray, haze, and light reflections of the rocks to make it look as much like water as I can pull off. Also threw some birds in the sunrise sky at the top to make it sell more as the sky. Hope it helps. ![]() Let me know what you think of the updates, and about the picture in general! PS: her a$$ is a subtle/not-so-subtle shout-out to blksuperman2's stuff because it always amazes me how he can make a billion different brilliant compositions where women's a$$es face the viewer. Hope I did you proud, blksuperman2!

FINAL-final... No really. Anyway, I had to fix the f-ed up leg... I was going for an extreme pose, but didn't quite pull it off, so I fixed it, and here's the final version: ![]() If you're sick of commenting on this piece, I'm not sure I can blame you... So no need. Just look at that breathtaking leg!!!!! ![]()

A final on my March 08 fanart contest entry. The theme: Heroes/Villians past their prime. I did a picture of a Joker/Bats chase set in a retirement community... ![]() Hope you like it!

Well I've decided come hell or high water, I'm gonna learn to use my graphics tablet. When I started this piece, I decided I'd force myself to use it almost exclusively. As for the subject of this piece... I decided to do a picture of the Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of the West) from Gregory Maguire's book 'Wicked' and, obviously, 'The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz'. ![]() Like I said, first time really taking my graphics tab for a serious spin, so comments and critiques would be appreciated.

So... Here is the final on my second learning-to-use-my-tablet pieces. This is my take on Tetsuo, from the BADASS anime classic, 'Akira'. (If you haven't seen it... Well, you must). Anyway, here it is: ![]() Like I said, this is my second tablet-piece so if you have thoughts on techniques with a tablet, or just the look of the piece in general, I'd LOVE to hear them. Thanks!

So this is the 3rd tablet-heavy piece I've done. I think I'm really starting to get the hang of it. Also, I'm starting to play around with overlaying textures and stuff. Anyway, it's based off the characters of 'The Maxx'. It depicts the Maxx killing an isz while Mr. Gone lurks in the background... ![]() I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Preface: So this is a near-late entry because I got 75% of the way done and then MERGED ALL THE LAYERS AND SAVED and had to go back to a file I had on my flash drive that was only about 40% done. Not to mention, Photoshop and my computer are totally f-ed and crash non-stop... In short, I have components for a new comp in route to my apt as I type this... This entry is the picture that killed my current PC. Having said that... I decided to go a little out there with the theme, since I've done a lot of Batman stuff in the past. My idea was, what if Harleen Quinzel, the future Harley Quinn, existed in the 'TDK' universe as an unhinged little girl how was obsessed with the psychotic, murderous Joker she saw on the news... It was just kinda a fun what-if idea I had, so I tried to have fun with it and add little details and stuff. Anyway, here it is: ![]() Hope you like it... I'd love to hear thoughts!
