Physics going horribly wrong and the boring government jobs that fix it. Collider, the new ongoing by Simon Oliver and Robbi Rodriguez is coming this fall.

I liked Exterminators so I'll be checking this out.

The A-Team with quantum physics?

That's at least worth a try.

Just finished the first 17 issues of Sweet Tooth. Damn, I regret not getting into this sooner. Not a huge fan of the art, but the story more than makes up for that.

Been picking up Sweet Tooth since the beginning and I've been loving it ever since. I hope Lemire has more non-capes work after this is all finished up.

The only thing I'm not too crazy about with it is the pacing. I think it's a bit too decompressed.

I still buy it religiously though, of course.

It did feel like it could drag at times. Especially when they were at the camp or dam.

A Vertigo title I'm glad I finally got around to reading is The Unwritten. I'm on issue 22. Though while I'm enjoying it there is a bit of annoyance in that I still don't grasp what is completely going on. There is plenty I do but if someone was to ask me what the book is about...I'd draw a blank.

It seems pretty straightforward to me. I don't know all of the details because I skipped a few issues, but the premise is pretty clear.

It really is an awesome book. Even better than Sweet Tooth, IMO. It's Harry Potter meets Inception with actual creative and original thought and not just a blatant LOTR and D&D ripoff like the real Harry Potter is.

I'm surprised you would. This book is on crack sometimes to where I'd think this would be your haven.

Come to think of it me too. Me being a literature geek on top of being a comic geek, being a big fan of Lucifer, and I do love me some metaness. I have no idea why the hell I dropped this. Looks like it's time to do some trade shopping.

The Unwritten is on my shortlist of what to read next. But I want to tackle Robinson's Starman first. Just need to find the reading order for the 2 annuals, the 80 page special, and the Hellboy crossovers.

Also, Sweet Tooth now on radar of trades to get.

Hey guys,

any recommendations for Fables. I started to first trade when it first came out, way back when, but didn't finished it. Now I am contemplating to give Fables another shot, since the Hellblazer cancellation made me sad but Vertigo hungry again. Could you tell me if its worth a second look?

I really loved Sandman, Hellblazer and Lucifer from Vertigo. Is Fables in the same vein? Has it some darker, horror like elements, like Sandman did?

The Deluxe Hardcovers are already on my amazon wishlist, so... hit me back.

I like Fables. I'd suggest reading the first 2 deluxe books to get an idea of the story and see if you like how it flows. I only have the first 1 right now, but plan on getting the rest eventually myself.

The first Fables trade is hit and miss with a lot of people. I would highly suggest getting through that first trade because the next four or five are absolutely amazing.

It's interesting, I've heard a lot of people say Fables is worth sticking with beyond the first volume, but after reading that first graphic novel I just wasn't interested in reading what happens next.

The first one got my interest, but man... did it ever kick over the next 3 or 4 trades... enough to make me pick them all up...
