I do miss that the ranked and social slayer divisions in Halo 3. I also would like more playlists. Seperate SWAT and snjpers so that players that want to play slayer can just play slayer

I don't think I'll be playing Big Team anything until the boot player thing is updated. I had a pretty decent spree going on (with the Tank) and off in the distance I shot an enemy warthog which must have had one of my teammates around it or something, so I was booted.
I was also leading the team in kills. I hope they lost. THAT is my major complaint with Reach, the stupid booting crap. |

I like SWAT in that the games are quick. Snipers always takes so long to complete. Might as well call it Camping.

Eh, there will always be campers. People would camp in Halo 3 and Halo 2 if they were up by 1 point.

I don't see why it would matter at all if Halo is nothing like COD. They are both perfectly enjoyable franchises for their own reasons, so let them exist as separate entities. I agree with several of your points, but they're all things that can be easily fixed with a patch (and have already been confirmed to be fixed shortly). Everything else is superficial, and while might be cool, is hardly a negative to the game.
The only thing I honestly wouldnt have minded is just more options for customistion, for instance being able to individually colour every armour piece. But that doesn't break the game for me, I love the gameplay and really, Bungie is one of the most dedicated Devs out there so I know they're going to keep providing for years to come. Just enjoy it for what it is, a great Halo game.

Correct me if there's already a way to do this, but I think it would be neat if you could let strangers in to your custom games. If you're playing on a custom map, the people coming in would be prompted to download it. Shouldn't take too long to do.

I always get pissed off during Firefight/Rocketfight on (I went blank on the level name). But when you jetpack to the top of the small building it gives you the return to battlefield countdown.
A) You're not even that far up. There are higher places in that level. B) You can stand on all buildings except that one. ![]()

the respawns tonight were awful.... Multiflag on Blood Gulch... was spawning me nearer their flag than ours.... and i was on Defence...

I'm just keeping fingers crossed that they fix that. I'm glad that the leveling up isn't taking as long anymore. I'm almost to Cap grade 2 and I've played for about and hour and a half

and my Spartan finally updated. Haven't bought many things, I'm saving my credits. Don't know what for though. Sucks you can't see the wrist. Spend all those cR's and you can't even see it.

oh yeah I meant cap grade 1. Jumping ahead of myself lol. I've been looking at all the available helmets, and I gotta say I'm pretty happy with my fully upgraded EOD helmet. It's a good lookin mask

EOD doesn't look that good to me. It's kind of cool in that it resembles Darth Vader, but that MJOLNIR Mark V looks so damn sleek.
Did you just call the helmet a mask? Say it ain't so?

eh I've been listening to Mushroomhead all day, so any head covering is a mask to me right now. They main reason I'm using EOD is that none of my friends are. THey're all using the Grenadier or Recon helmets. I like to stand out

Aw man, I was fully hoping my Spartan would have updated too lol. Sadly, no. I seriously cannot wait until I hit Lt Colonel so I can get Gold Visor, JFO Helmet and put it all together with the ODST Chestpiece to make an Iron Man Spartan ^_^
