PPP in December has Johnson polling 9% against Obama and Romney.

A Public Policy Polling survey conducted in December found that Johnson would be supported by nine percent of the electorate in a general election contest against President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

Now LP members were allowed to vote as many times as they wanted. Still Gary Johnson got 6,489 votes. R Lee Wrights was second with 198 votes.

just give Gary the LP Nomination now.

So, this weekend is Libertarian Nomination. Gary Johnson is the Frontrunner. I'm not gonna post the links, but here is valid info. Also mods, if there is a actual Libertarian thread, please merge this into that.

Gary is polling 15% in New Mexico in a 3 way vs Obama and Romney. Via PPP.

PPP has Gary at 6% nationally.

Gary is likely to get nomination on 1st ballot with 90% vote according to Bill Still who is also running. Then he dissed Gary saying he is gonna fall flat on his face like Bob Barr did. Ouch.

Gary has filed FEC papers for matching funds.

Seems like the LP convention is on C-SPAN Saturday...

Names floating around as Vice President? Jennifer Aniston, Drew Carey, Penn Jilette, Jesse Ventura. IF it's a celeb, I say Penn or Jesse. Jesse is suppose to be there...

C-SPAN is SUPPOSE to air the Libertarian Convention at 9pm tomorrow but it's a no go according to Time Warner. But C-SPAN will have it live-streaming online. Same with the voting Sat at Noon eastern.

Gary Johnson WINS on first ballot! Will be on 49, NOT 50 states ballots! Oklahoma ballot access laws suck. Same **** with 2008. Right now only 29 states are Libertarian for 2012. Suppose to be over 40 by later in year.

Also to note, Gary Johnson has had 2 money bombs on his campaign site since May 24th. A Mt Everest theme one. He reached his first goal of $29,035 by May 30th a bit early, so he set another one of the same amount to 'climb back down' by I believe today. Don't think he is gonna reach his second goal, but he has a total of $43,862.20 donated from only 335 donors. I believe he reached his first goal late on May 29th via 11 donors donating the remaining amount that was left over. Those donors donated a combined 9K. 11...PEOPLE...donated a combined $9,000...holy crap.

Well I'll be darn, This guy is real, I saw him on The Daily Show the other night. LOL

I was starting to think he was made up since NO ONE was talking about him except for people on here.

Have to say, From what little I saw of the man on TDS, He seems like a nice man and some of what he said I could agree with but I won't be throwing my vote away on a little known name who will be lucky to get 3% of the vote.

If others wants to that's fine, More power to them, But IN MY OPINION it's a wasted vote.

Let's say if you live in a state like Texas or New York where you know your vote is pointless, I don't see it as a wasted vote it more of a protest vote.

Now if you vote him in a state like Ohio or Florida you are really making a statement how you feel. lol

Here's a new article, but first I like to say that his new ad that is almost a week old is at over 28K views, and should be at 30K views by Friday on Youtube. While not huge views, the last time he had a ad break 20K was 4 weeks ago. The exploding watermelon one that is at 25K still. His last ad before this latest one is still in the 8K view range So that good...people kept sharing it around on Facebook, Twitter, and what not on the web.
