![]() You all know, that there was a draft leaked online of Iron Man '05 movie, but no one had a chance to see it. Here are some main details: * Storyline is more about the alcohol problems of Tony Stark. * There would be a completely different origin. * The main enemy of the film was Howard Stark (evil War Machine) - Tony's father, who later would invent the armor and would use it for the bad purposes. * There was another idea about Howard - to make him the Crimson Dynamo. * Through the movie we could've a chance to see: Jim Rhodes, Bethany Cabe, Nick Fury (616 version) and Pepper Potts. Rhodey would later helped Tony to cope with the alcohol problem. Conclusion: After seeing the first sketches of armor and the script, Kevin Feige, executive producer of the film, would spoke about the fact that the movie itself is very unusual and different from everything else, that Marvel Studios accomplished for these years. Soon, however, the script was rewritten. And everyone was waiting until 2008. What happened after you already know. Last edited by RealIrOnMaN; 12-13-2009 at 09:36 AM. |

Sure it would had RDJ but without Jon Favreau it wouldn't be half as good as the first is.

+ making Howard Stark a villain is a big mistake, in terms of original 616 continuity or the Ultimate one. Though I like this costume. Would've fitted good on Downey) Maybe we've had a chance to see at the Hulkbuster Armor at the end, 'cause the Modular Armor can attach any tech and weapons to teh armor itself. |

Making Howard Stark bad is literally just stupid. Howard was never a bad guy (in what I've read at least). That's LITERALLY like making Thomas Wayne a bad guy. You have any idea how mad everyone would be?

I don't think, that we will see any better origin of Iron Man in the recent years. And, Modular Armor can be cool and pretty, but not as massive and powerfull and realistic as Mark III. That was the main problem of the armor in '05. Though, if they made the movie in the 90's - Modular Armor would be a nice touch. |

I hate comic book movies that rely on daddy issues for conflict. |

I don't really consider him as having daddy issues. It's more about vengeance.
