Default Your 2010 Book List As it Develops

Your 2010 Reading List
Here's a place to catalog what you've read this year. For those who made resolutions to read more (like I did) or just want to see how much you read in a year, this'll be a lot of fun for you.

I just finished The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King. I'm planning to read the rest of the Dark Tower series this year.

I got a bucket load of books for christmas, along with about 5 others I have yet to start, so I'm set this year. At the moment, I'm reading Under the Dome by Stephen King.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I promised my wife it would be the next book I read 5+ years ago. It wasn't. I saw it surfaced sometime late last year and seemed to be casually here or there around the house. So, taking the hint, I told her it would be the first book I read in 2010.

So far I have read:

The Lost Symbol - readable but not great
The Painted Man/The Warded Man - first book of a dark fantasy series and quite engaging
Pirates by Crichton - am reading this right now but it is slow going as I am now only reading 5 min a day. The start is not too bad.

I've been disappointed in my books so far.
Dracula: The Undead by Dacre Stoker

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
They made Dracula a misunderstood servant of God. How the hell is he a servant of God if he feeds an infant to his brides in the original book?

Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry

I didnt even finish it. It was too boring. I was expecting a book about terrorists using a zombie virus to be exciting but twenty chapters in and 90% of it had been police talk.

Catch 22 by Joseph Heller

This one has potential but may also be frustrating as hell. Its nutty, funny stuff but also very surreal and confusing. A group of WW2 bombardiers try to get out of their missions any ways they can, including being insane. I think that the confusing parts comes from the author trying to mock military procedures and their ridiculousness.

I've purchased a fair amount of books in the last twenty-two days, but school's been kicking my ass since then and I read about 5-10 pages of one book every night. Anyway...

Pet Semetary
Under the Dome
Necropolis
Battle Royale
World War Z
Zombie Survival Guide
Cell
The Strain
When You Are Engulfed in Flames
The Will to Whatevs
American Psycho

In progress Full Moon, Book 2 of The Dresden Files
Alas, my progress will be slowed! I left my book on the counter and my 3-year old son decided it needed to be cleaned with a very wet washcloth. Luckily I was able to get it in front of a space heater and save it with minimal page-sticking-togetherishness. Of course it's about 3 times as thick as it was before - but it looks to be readable.

Completed
Storm Front, Book 1 of The Dresden Files
Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Reading Jim Morrison's bio

I got many books I want to read and they keep piling up. So far I've read one book this year.

I finished Book 3: The Waste Lands yesterday, and I just started Book 4: Wizard and Glass. I think I've finally started Act 2 of this tale.
