I never said copy TDK. I said TDK took a page out of the Spidey Playbook with the Joker killing off Batman's Love interest.

NO ONE "knows", but at least now we have a chance. Because we KNOW that we DID NOT any of the things listed in Raimi's version.

Wow, some of these Raimi bashers are likely to be in trouble with the mods. Can't wait.

I just want the best possible Spider-Man film (s) and for me this is great news.

I hope it's great for all of us Spider-Man fans. That's all I can about any of this. I believe Raimi did some good things, but missed so many marks.

Again I just want to best possible film(s) we can get.

You already threw sand in everyone's face...kinda too late to hug it out.

We don't know if this next movie will be the best possible film we could get. Raimi could have given us the best possible film we can get. We don't know. So, getting overly excited for a reboot in which you know NOTHING about is naive and pointless.

The last good Sam Raimi movie was Darkman.

Darkman was dynamic, had flair, Raimi was more innovative on that movie than all 3 Spider-Man movies combined. He didn't have to rely on CGI to cover his weaknesses. After Darkman, Raimi tried to become a serious director yet kept making run-on-mill average flicks that anybody else would have directed with the same results.

Hey, I have a great idea.

Why dont we reboot every franchise after it has one bad film.

That way we can keep going backwards, see the same stories over and over again and never move forward.

Hulk, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, X-men(not a reboot but a prequel to fix how they screwed up the franshise) and now Spiderman.

Why should I care anymore?

What's so original about a curse? Have you seen Stephen King's "Thinner"?

I think people liked it just because of the ending. But I have seen Angel Heart.

OMG. Drag Me to Hell copied The Mummy because they both had curses
