I know many of you enjoy going to concerts and have probably gotten some awesome shots of the shows. Share them with us!

How bout getting lucky and actually getting to meet one of the acts or a celebrity. Post those here too!

If you have any videos, they are more than welcome.

Feel free to share some crazy concert experiences too! Those are always fun!

I work a lot of concert gigs and I can't really get a camera in there but here some pics taken with my Blackberry.

This is from the Rascal Flatts 2009 Concert at the Va Beach Amphitheatre

These are from our booth at the Blink 182 show, also at the Amphitheatre. Fallout Boy and Asher Roth were the opening acts

We were slammed the whole night just about, so I didn't get to see any of the show

I've been lucky to enough to attend nearly 30 concerts in my life since 1999:

Elton John
Tina Turner (with Lionel Richie opening)
The Rolling Stones (2x)
John Mellencamp (2x)
Eric Clapton
The Allman Brothers Band
Kelly Clarkson
The Who (2x)
Billy Joel (3x) (with special guests Tony Bennett, John Mayer, Don Henley & John Mellencamp the third time)
Bob Seger
Roger Waters
Stevie Nicks (2x)
Aerosmith (2x) (Joan Jett and ZZ Top opened for them)
Chuck Berry
Genesis
Stevie Wonder (with special guests Prince and Tony Bennett)
Steppenwolf
Bruce Springsteen (2x)
Paul McCartney

Most of them were fantastic shows. The only real disappointments were Clapton, The Allman Brothers, and the second Aerosmith show.

The bests shows I saw were the two Springsteen shows I saw this year. There isn't a finer living performer out there today. Here's some videos I shot at the Madison Square Garden shows I saw:

The Paul McCartney concert I attended was also very special. I took nearly 200 photos that night. I'll see if I can get some up later.

I didn't really start going to concerts until a few years back, so my list is relatively short. I have a few pics as well, which I'll share later.

Chevelle (w/ Fair to Midland)
HIM (w/ Bleeding Through)
Coldplay
Green Day (w/ Keiser Chiefs [best show I've seen by far])
The Offspring (w/ Sum 41)
Britney Spears (w/ Pussycat Dolls)

Worked the KISS Concert in October at the Hampton Colliseum. It is definitely the loudest indoor concert I've ever worked. Possibly the loudest tour I've ever worked period. It's a toss up between Jonas Bros and KISS, but the only reason Jonas was so deafening was because of all the screaming fans. Kiss was musically loud, and did not disappoint.

I was on the upper level booth and we were slammed mostly. Buckcherry was the opening act and I was surprised how many people wanted their stuff. One lady dropped like 600 bucks in cash on kiss/buckcherry stuff
we had a ton of problems this night. The credit card machine went down for about 30-45 minutes so we could only do cash. Some drunk was leaning on the table too hard and broke it, sending everyone's drinks and whatnot down the edge onto the floor right in front of me. People couldn't make up their mind, getting mad cuz we were selling out of stuff, etc. You know, normal concert business.

Kiss sounded great, from where I was I could hear everything clearly. The bombs going off or whatever they were, were loud as heck and one lady in our booth jumped out of her skin everytime one went off.

We were super slow during the encore, so I got to step out onto the top level and watch from the balcony. The ushers were super cool about that

here's some pics I could snag with my blackberry

our booth:

I have terrible pics taken at AC/DC and Metallica gigs -- nothing to write home about just some quick pics to show my dad

I usually *hate* it when people take their cells out and start taking pictures/recordings the concerts -- and they would even look at you angry if you dare touching them and -obviously- ruining their shot

But.. I digress. I go to very few gigs every year -- maybe 2 or 3, not much more.. Supposedly, Dream Theater is coming to town in march (they always come down here in march) so.. who knows

edit: but Social Distortion is coming in april so.. I guess I'll attend that one -hopefully-

i hate when people constantly take photos non stop, and since i work more concerts than i attend, i get random shots, if any. if its an indoor venue and it's slow, i might walk out to a balcony where there are no seats and snap a couple (like with Kiss) or the outdoor venue i work mostly has a big divide between seated area and the lawn area, so if i'm on break i might try to snap a couple while i watch from the stairs on my break between the two areas.

Saw 30 Seconds to Mars the other night. Got to meet them after the show, but they wouldn't allow any pictures to keep the line moving. They did sign my ticket though.

Saw HIM on Sunday. Couldn't use my camera because of the venue's policy, so the phone had to do:

One of the opening acts was We Are The Fallen, which is the band consisting of ex-Evanescence members and Carly Smithson from Idol a few years back. They were pretty good...and she's hot.

I've been to a few more this year, but I can't bring my camera into all of them.

You're telling me. I was originally sitting in the nosebleed section and they randomly came up to us before the show started to upgrade our seats to the lower level. Talk about being at the right place at the right time. I really didn't expect them to be as good as they were, but I'm glad to have been proven wrong.
