The next installment in the Ghost Recon series is coming Fall 2010. There will be a multiplayer beta contained within Spinter Cell: Conviction.

Not really getting the Solid Snake voice over with the invisible Nazgûl warriors on Tatooine. I think they will go were the sales are and attempt to reel in the Modern Warfare user-base with focus on multiplayer and Hollywood style drama, tactical shooters have near enough died out.

Nonsense. Tactical shooters are still around. They just get mislabled as "arcadey" because they aren't as punitive as they used to be.

Having said that, I loved me some Ghost Recon.

It is what it is. The industry is a business. Which means they are in it to make money. That style game makes money. Doesnt mean the game cant be good.

That's if Splinter Cell is released before this game, which after all the delays is starting to look like a big if.

I hope they go back ti the 1st person stuff, I didn't like the 3rd person GRAW.

I really didn't like how GRAW handled, Rainbow 6 Vegas was just a much better Tom Clancy game out at the same time.

Niiiiice trailer. Love all the GR games. First person, third person, doesn't matter.

I do hope it retains the tactics though, instead of buckling to the pressure and becoming more all out action orientated.

Strangely it sounds like they took some inspiration from Aegis Wing of all places:
