anyway, if they can at least get most of the original cast back i'd be down to watch it

it has been 10 years since the original came out, so it's only fitting that this new film be a high school reunion of sorts

besides, aside from Sean William Scott, Allison Hannigan, and Jason Biggs; the rest of the guys aren't up to anything i think

as long as this film has no direct connection with the crappy direct to dvd sequels. i pretend those don't exist

I doubt those two would even wanna be in it. They are the only two actors left who actually still get steady work.

Well if they go the route of making this a reunion movie where as it is there 10 year high school reunion then it could be very good. If they go the route remaking this entirely then Im out, the original still holds up to todays standards. whats next a remake/reboot/redo of cant hardly wait?

IMO they should just get a new bunch of kids and do a new story.. I know that was kinda the point ofthe DTV sequels but they tagged on the Stifler connection. Just go back to basics with high school kids, get some new characters and new actors to play them...

Perhaps a new group of kids at the high school hear about a record for most lays during one term set by Stifler so many years ago and they try to break it... Actually, I'm surprised there hasn't been a Spring Break based American Pie yet.. Or to be totally fresh, maybe they could even focus it on a group of girls this time instead of guys.

However.. if they wanted to get the old gang back, I could see them doing it where they are all parents and have kids of their own doing all that stuff... They could maybe mix it up a bit and have Jims kid be the sex stud and Stiflers kid be the sexless loser.

I think the DTV spinoffs were just a big turnoff for me that I don't care for another American Pie..

I was hoping that they would do another theatrical sequel, and in my mind, following the string of films it only makes sense that the next be "American Family"; have it center on Jim and Michelle with a kid or two a few years down the road from Wedding. Throw in Uncle Stiffler/Paul/Kevin etc, and I think it would be fine. Perhaps one of the other characters has settled down also and has a family now.

I heard a story a few years ago about Jim and Michelle going out for the night and Stiffler of all people would be babysitting the kids.

It would have a couple stories weaving through out it like it always does.

I liked the first 3 and the first direct to dvd sequel and that's about it.

The Naked Mile and Beta House were just horrible. I didn't even bother with the latest one.

Still, I think they referred to him by his first name once in the entire series... if this writer would have just said "Sherman" or "The Shermanator" it would have made a lot more sense.

You sir should work in the creative dept for them. A chick cast would be sweet. But I think they would have to go with a different name...like, American Cucumber.
