Wow. Interesting. This further proves Nolan is involved. I'm fine with Goyer writing the story but would like his draft get passed along to get polished.
No Routh No Singer No origin movie And Brainiac and Luthor! Awesome! |

WHOA. This could be big. Certainly leads credence to Nolan's involvement. If they can get a great director to work with Goyer's material, we're in for a very interesting franchise.
Oh, and uh....FULL REBOOT. Awesome.

Holy crap! What a crazy news day!
This story idea sure sounds good, but that's always been Goyer's strong point. It's when writing the dialogue that things can get messy. But if it's got Luthor and Braniac, and takes a cue from the Byrne Man of Steel stuff...I'm SOLD! Although I'm a bit upset that Routh won't be used (as per the article). With this not being an origin story, it would seem like a good opportunity to use him.

I do like the idea of the Planet struggling because of the internet.

Makes a lot of sense, he dropped off Flash Forward, everybody thought it was to write Batman 3. Obviously it was for Superman, and I guess we now know that Nolan is definitely involved...so all that skepticism can fly away.

Well, I love Byrne's run on Superman, so this news may be a good thing.

It's probably for both. He might not be the main person writing Batman 3 but he definitely has a hand in it just like with TDK.

The only thing I am disappointed about is no Routh but I'll live I was upset when Welling wasn't cast and I will be sad to see Routh go. Just as long as they cast someone who can make me believe he is Superman like Welling and Routh did after Reeve then I am happy.

AS LONG AS HE DOESN'T DIRECT...
This sounds good. I liked his draft of BB more than the final film.

Nolan wouldn't allow that.
I hope.

If there is one thing Goyer is good at writing it's action, I just hope that Nolan may be able to polish on dialogue.
I do think Goyer is solid with ideas for plots and stories.

Very cool. I can see a lot of people fussing about this, and claim that Goyer had a string of terrible films. Blade: Trinity and The Unborn are two films out several films on his resume.

Yea, according to Nikki Finke, Goyer and Jonah Nolan were working on Batman 3. At this point, it's probably in Jonah's hands.

I see. So Latino Review is a bit behind then, and Goyers script is already written. Which jives with the earlier reports.

The Good news is that it wont be an origin story.
The somewhat disappointing news is that Routh won't be back. The Bad news is that its probably primarily based on Byrne Superman. |
