I believe this deserves a poll...

well logically if its going to be anyone from the comics it is probably his love interest gail richards who was his girlfriend probably before he left for the war. Or its that peggy carter chick if they go with her being a spy in the war or what ever the character is.

I'm expecting Sharon Carter in The Avengers, but I wouldn't want her to be the love interest right away, so yeah, let him kill time with Black Widow 'till the sequel.

Theron's too old compared to the young actor doing Steve. If Steve is acted by someone like Brad Pitt or Mark Valley then it's okay Sharon played by Theron.

they could always do both gail and peggy. Gail could be cap's girlfriend he had back home before he enlisted/picked the the project. Then maybe she breaks up with him via a letter or something during the film. Cause she fears he wont return..... Then they could add that peggy character as someone he mets up with and maybe has a connection with. But nothing romantically really happens between them.
