And what exactly are we supposed to explain? We the mods have asked the admins what's up with the lag....and we have been told just as you have, to have patience because they are working on it.

If you think it is hard for you guys to post...try accessing the modding tools and do things like merge threads or the such.

We're having the same lag problems too, and we're just as frustrated. And like C. Lee said, it's even harder for us when we're actually trying to do our jobs here.

And we know as much about what's going on as the rest of you do. Honestly. If we had an explanation, we'd give it to you. We've been asking the same questions too. All we know is that it's being worked on, and will hopefully be a thing of the past soon.

Wow, well the forums worked really for a few days but now it's virtually inaccessible to me. I've managed to open a grand total of two threads over the last several days, this being one of them. Carrier pigeons are faster than this.

Eagerly awaiting whatever upgrade I hope is coming.

Yeah, the lag is a killer.

I remember a few years back the forum was closed for a week, twice and then everything seemed to be ok for awhile.

It sucks that we don't know how ''soon'' is ''soon''.
Maybe if we all emailed the admins with complaints they may take action sooner?

Its horriblee and beecoming almsot impossbiel to access this site. Ive seen other baords which have had similar issues prune old threads in order to speed things up. Threads which have gotten large have been closed. Are the mods looking into any of these options?

I'm not so bothered by the horrible loading, which lately has become really bad. To the point where I thought something was wrong with computer. But, aside from taking 13 minutes to be able to see this thread, the "can't find webpage" thing appearing to then refresh the page is pretty bad.

I've lost like 4 lengthy replies in the past two days. I don't know nearly enough about computers to even fathom what could be wrong and how they could fix it.

But I'd like them to fix it.

I'd imagine that complaining will only make more people even more frustrated. Look we all like the site and we all want to keep coming here so I as much as I hate the lag I'll get over it. If the site lagged like this forever I'd probably still come just as much.

Man, it's been crawlin if accesseble at all over the past week. If it's gotta be shut down for a bit to clear room, I'd hope, I'm sure we'd get a warning.

I don't have a backup for IM2 posts, so I guess it'll be like the days before the net....

what was it we did again??...talk to actual people...i'll give it a whirl.

Same here. What I do is I click on the thread I want and if it doesn't load in a few seconds I open another tab and look at something else in the meantime.
