War Machine flying to that base with the awesome patriotic music behind him. I dunno why, it was just a powerful bit to me.

Was that Thor in the prison scene or was that the Ivan "double" that was killed so he could escape

That was a double...
I mean seriously, why are people thinking that was Thor...that makes absolutely ZERO sense.

I don't see how people could think that was Thor. Thor is way too strong to be caught in a prison like that.

I loved the senate hearing. When Tony takes over the TV's with his phone and is like, "oh, Justin, you're on TV, you might want to watch this" "Just, for the record, that pilot survived." Good stuff. And the "**** you Mr. Stark, **** You"

The Monaco scene was fantastic. The Expo scene where Hammer introduces the drones and War Machine. The entire climax....enough said. The whole courtroom scene was a riot. Finally, the little scuffle with Iron Man and War Machine was great.

My favorite scene was Coulson finding Thor's hammer, followed by a lightning crack.
![]() But in the actual movie, I'd say it was WM cracking jokes about Pepper & Tony at the end.

There were many, but several stick out for me:
The whole Monaco scene Rhodey fighting Tony was pretty fun and hilarious Black Widow; every scene she was in Captain America's unfinished shield Final Battle (thats trumps the last battle in Iron Man) And what made me pretty yell excitedly louder than anything else was Agent Coulson finding Thor's Hammer in New Mexico

Every scene with Ivan, he was such an awesome character.
I loved seeing the two Hammer Guards hanging in the back ground . Heh, that's all they needed to show was the end result, much better than seeing it done.

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree there. I'd say it would have been if they'd have shown Ivan doing something else in the movie that basically takes his villainy to the next level but we never really get that. But since we didn't get a scene like that, I was kinda hoping to see him take them out. But we didn't. Oh well.

Anyway, favourite scene? Either the Expo battle or the New Mexico after-credits scene. |

Well that part(him being a genius AND a badass) wasn't my problem with it. It's that he should have had a moment that takes his threat/evilness/villainy/scariness to the next level ala' Joker slaughtering the Batman wannabe on video in TDK, Chigurgh killing the innocent motorist in NCFOM or Gruber killing Takagi in Die Hard. It needed an added element like that to it to really close the deal on selling the character. All IMO of course. And the thing these examples all have in common? They are all smalller, more personal evil rather than great evil schemes or plots. The more personal the evil, the more relatable and more emotionally connected we get to the film. And I guess where such a scene should have taken place is just before the Monaco fight. Whatever innocent person Ivan probably killed to gain access and/or get the racing duds is something we should have seen and it should have been really brutal & emotional. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Stark: I didn't give it to him, he took it.
Fury: Whoa whoa whoa, he took it? You're Iron Man, and he just took it?! The little brotha' just walked in there, kicked ass, and took your suit. |
