For Cap, I wouldn't mind the Ultimate WWII look for his movie. It takes place during WWII, right? That was one awesome costume Hitch designed, even if it was worn by the embodiment of all that is douchebaggy called Ultimate Cap.

Maybe it's the lighting, but I definitely see more definition in the pic of Hemsworth than I do in the pic of Routh.

I think the suit looks cool (whatwe see of it). Can't wait for it. Though I do think that the suit is fairly skintight, I'm sure there has been some slight painting on of muscle tone, similar to Spider-man's suit from his films.

Which is fine by me. I'm glad Hemsworth put the work in to bulk up, but if it looks better to mold the muscles into the costume, go for it. Whatever looks best in front of the camera.

Definitely digging the design, but the material looks like cheap plastic right now, and the arms look like rubber instead of any kind of "chain mail". Hoping the costume looks better in subsequent pictures and onscreen, cause the design is amazing!

I am honestly shocked at some of the comments worrying about the armor before we've even seen a post-production copy yet, let's also keep in mind "angles" people..... And this mess about touching up the guy's muscles..... This isn't Tobey McGuire we're talking about here. This is Chris Hemsworth, all 6'3 220+ pounds of him who's been working out hardcore for the last 8 months with the best trainers money can buy. Even if there is the slightest bit of shading, it's mentioned like it's trying to hide him from looking puny or something.

yea routh's first photo as superman and its costume was so terrible in my mind(same for the film itself) but as for chris hemsworth he seems to be a solid guy, and looks great, i cant wait to see how he plays thor. Plus the costume looks alot better then the SR suit.

There was practically zero chance the dude was going to sport real chain armor. It's too constricting for what they're trying to do with the character.
