What ye talking about? Raimi had planned a SM4 movie in detail.

Link please, I want to confirm. Because I've seen in this very site even sketches of SM4. The word out there is that Raimi was fired, he didn't quit. I might be wrong though.

My revamped order.

Spectacular films
Spider-man 2
X2
X-men: First Class
Iron Man

Good Marvel films
Spider-man
Incredible Hulk
Thor
Blade
Kick-Ass
X-men
Hulk
Spider-man 3
Iron Man 2
Punisher '04

Worth me seeing once as a Marvel fan, but that's about it
Blade 2
Wolverine
Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four 2
X-men 3
Daredevil

...Just plain bad!
Ghost Rider
Blade: Trinity
Punisher: War Zone
Elektra

I watched X3 recently and I have to say, it gets worse with subsequent viewings! What a waste.

Cap is up next, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I guess I will start with what Marvel films have set the bar and those that have lowered it.I based my ratings on the films as a whole, this takes into account, the story line, acting, special effects, how true to the characters and comic books they are, and so on.

Although I've learned over the years to forgive the accuracy from movie adaptation to the translation of the comic book. Let's face it, there is only one comic book that is a verbatim translation and that was Sin City.

X-Men: First Class: 9.2/10 Superior imho and sets a new standard for Marvel films.
Iron Man: 8.8/10
Spider-Man 2: 8.5/10
Spider-Man: 8/10
X2: 8/10
Thor: 7.9/10
Kick-Ass: 7.5/10
Hulk: 7.2/10 imho, this movie does a much better job of telling Banner and the Hulk's story rather than just making it a Hulk smash film.
Iron Man 2: 7.1/10 This movie wouldn't have been nearly as good without RDjr's performance. Scarlett Johanssen, gtfo please.

The Incredible Hulk: 6.5/10
The Punisher: 6.5/10
Blade II: 6.5/10
X-Men: 6.5/10 Very much a starter film.
Blade: 6/10
Spider-Man 3: 5/10
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer: 5/10
Fantastic Four: 5/10
X-Men: The Last Stand: 5/10 Performances by Sir Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are this films saving grace.
Blade: Trinity: 4/10
Daredevil: 3.5/10

X-Men Origins: Wolverine: 3/10
Ghost Rider: 1.5/10
Elektra: 1/10 How the hell does Zak Penn keep getting work? Last Action Hero, Inspector Gadget, X-Men TLS, The Incredible Hulk and this crap?
The Punisher: War Zone: -/10 Haven't seen it but if this thing is worse than Elektra, yikes!

I keep seeing everyone giving DD directors cut much better reviews, is it that much better?

I've seen both and while the director's cut may be viewed as better, I still say both royally suck. MSJ does not understand how to make a good SH movie.

That's what I've been wondering, how much better can a director's cut be of the very same movie? I'll take your word for it and watch it sometime when I am bored out of my mind and it's between that or punisher warzone.

I hear after watching it, it makes you burn all of your comics and go around punching kittens and puppies in the face.

Well I was never that emotionally attached to the character in the first place so I doubt my reaction would be like that.

I just meant because it's such a bad film, regardless of a person's love to the Pun.

I am a Pun fan, and War Zone did try to borrow the asthetic of the more recent comic stuff...but lord it's just an unforgiveable mess of a movie. It's sad because Stevenson makes such a good Frank, and he was stuck in such a piss poor excuse for a movie. It felt like a massive waste.
