About his costumes in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST:

Im excited about my costumes, which are [frick]ing awesome. Hes on his way to becoming Patrick Stewart, but hes not quite there yet. The 70s costumes are hilarious , theyre quite psychedelic, which is great. James McAvoy

On Hugh Jackmans Wolverine in the storyline:

Hughs got a big part, You throw Hugh Jackman in there and he comes with so much rage. Im really looking forward to working with him. Hed better [frick]ing bring it. Im excited to work with McKellen to. - James McAvoy

On Charles and Erik in the sequel:

Its working off what we set up in the first new one. The relationship between Charles and Erik is being explored in the future and in the past. - James McAvoy

They might be going a little far with this 70s stuff.

It's kind of hard to avoid with the 70s.

I gotta say, I liked reading all the comments about NYC in the 70's. I read about it and it sounded bad, but it must've been something else to live through it.

EDIT: and It just hit me that those comments were made 3 weeks ago, lol

I love these photos. It's like Charles is leading a protest for peace or something.

have just wondered:

Is that still a wig? or is Jame's real hair?

if its a wig, its a bit weird to see him in his free-time with the wig. and I guess he doesnt film all days

It's not his real hair, because it was really short from Macbeth. And it's not a wig. He's using extensions, and you can't remove it.

mm, so I guess he'll have to keep them until he graps

or once he has more than 1 week without filming or so. Its a possibility. Im sure it wont take too much time to get extesions again. That can be done in a matter of 2 hours, so for this right option, I kind of doubt James will be with this long hair until August, lol.

He will have some interviews and public events right? like a few premieres and one or more tv shows.

In any case, we'll find it out during next weeks/month, in fact, on Comic Con!

Getting extensions, removing them, and getting them again in such a short space of time (and repeatedly over five months of filming) would do terrible damage to his hair/scalp.

Why wouldn't he be keeping them in?

It's hardly a bright pink mohawk. It's long hair in a natural colour. He can make any public appearance he wants with it.

Exactly. Extensions are complicated to remove...because it takes a long time to put them on. He won't do it for as long as the shooting is happening.

James looks a cool surfer dude with them, anyway...he's rocking the new Charles style.

I don't think we will see James McAvoy turning bald in this film.

Though he might cut his hair to look more presentable.
