I say run some kinda connect at the end of Thor. Something that puts some of the pieces togeather, and then... shows something like Captain being found in the ice.

What if..............

Thor ends.... and they roll credits.....

Then you get a montage of things that have already crosslinked.

Like say a sequence or two with Stark and Fury, from Iron Man and the sequal.... Jump from the Shield Strategy room with the TV showing the reporter from the Increadible Hulk attacking at the University... zoom in and cut to the real scean from the Increadible Hulk...

Show the end of the Hulk with Banner gaining control... shoot a new sequence with Norton where Loki is right in that room with him

Flash to the sceane where Stark meets up with Thunderbolt...key in on the fact that Tony says that project was best left on ice.

Then cut to icey tundra.... and the Shield being unearthed. Then a voice we found him?!!!!!!!!!!!

Then in Super Cheasy clifhanger form....

Big letters

SEE.... HOW... IT... ALL STARTED................

SEE.... HOW IT ALL BEGINS

CAUSE IN JUST A FEW WEEKS.......

Play some crazy theme music from the Captain America trailer that willl already be out..!

HUGE LETTERS

CAPTAIN AMERICA it starts on JULY 22 2010!!!

Think about all the free time Thor has.... they can piece all that togeather easy...and keep it under wraps just like that Super 8 trailers that had people going.... wha????

Love this idea but maybe as a first trailer for the Avengers.

Simply tell a story of all the seeds that Nick and S.H.I.E.L.D have sown.
Put anything regarding the Avengers from Thor and Cap in there.

Have The Avengers charge into battle with Captain America screaming 'Avengers Assemble!' followed by a montage of clips from the film displaying villains, action shots and other character such as Pepper or Black Widow.
Then have the title show up. 'The Avengers - Assembling May 4th 2012'

I'd enjoy that as a first trailer just to build up excitement and for the GA to see what they might not have noticed previously.

Since Thor is already wrapped they have plenty of time to shoot anything they want in secrecy, getting Norton on Board for a sequence with Hiddleson as Loki would be perfect.

Thor did a really good job of keeping the flow of information to a minimum, we don't really have much, plus promoting Catain America at the end of Thor makes sense.

It would also make sense because Captain America probably takes place 95% in the past, THor is the last movie before the Avengers to take place in the 'modern now'

THe End sequence of the Hulk where Banner takes control,,,happened a good year after the end of the Hulk... remember the days without incident count down just before Banners Eyes go green. meaning a good year after the end of IM2, and the beginning of Thor...so it would all tie in nicely in terms of time line.

In my mind Banner is all Zen his eyes go green, he transforms....then we see the Hulk...and in a very kind of calm voice the Hulk looks down at his own hands... then says

"Finally....Amazing..."

and then we see Loki in the backround.... and he says

"amazing yes... but you didn't really think you did that all by yourself....did you?

That's all well and good, but the 'Days without incident' countdown was at 31 before he transformed at the very end of TIH. It wasn't a year after the Abomination fight, it was 31 days. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Cool idea, though I see this as more of a thing to roll during the opening credits of the Avengers movie itself then a teaser at the end of "Thor". I think that will be more of an encounter between an Asgardian and somebody related to SHIELD.

This is the crosslink I want to see in Captain America

If it ends in Modern Day, I want to see Cap get the shield that Tony Stark had along with a video message that says

TS: "Welcome to the 21st century!!!! I apologize for not being able to give this to you in person, but I'm in the process of remodeling (in the background it shows people trying to repair Stark's damaged house), party got a little out of hand. Anyways, I was told to recreate the shield that you use to carry, not quite as heavy, but trust me, the metal that its made from is virtually indestructible. Also, there is packet taped on the underside of the shield, check it out, see ya in New Mexico"

Under the shield is a packet that says "Avengers Initiative"
