Take this with the biggest grain of salt, but somebody on IMBD claims they went to the test screening and they had this to say...
"The film will be remembered as a dystopian sci-fi classic. I have no idea how Blomkamp got away with making a hard R blockbuster on this scope. I only say blockbuster because of its action sequences--there's only three action scenes but they are a giant step above the action in District 9. Without a doubt the ballsiest ending in any recent film. The vfx, though unfinished, were some of the most creative of any recent production. Syd Mead's guttered city designs are more memorable and refined than his Blade Runner work IMO. The political subtext shouldn't distract too many viewers, as Matt Damon's character's arc--much like Wikus--is the real heart of the story. Truly becomes the ultimate badass. Can't wait to see it again."
"This is Matt Damon's best performance, ever. He displays a vulnerability that eclipses any protagonist in any recent sci-fi. Like Wikus, he does things that aren't exactly the right thing to do, but it's that humanity that makes us like him even more."

I know, that's why I said with a huge grain of salt. IMO, he doesn't sound like an idiot, but that don't mean much of anything.

IMDB is usually the trash bin of internet forums. So i would be very hesitant about trusting anything posted there without a source.

Yeah, I usually wouldnt trust IMDB, but the review does sound like it be about the movie. Blomkamp has said the movie will have similar themes to D9, although they wont be the same.

Either way though one review wont effect my hopes for the movie.

They've done a few private screening of the film at this point so that review isn't so far fetched.

The review sounds alright. Goes into fair detail and is well written.Still it could always be a troll.

We need more young directors like Blomkamp and Jones in the Sci-Fi genre.

Cool pic Boom. I really liked District 9, and Neill Blomkamp is a great new young up coming director, so I'm pretty excited to see this. Can't wait for a trailer! I remember District 9's first teaser trailer I saw was one of the aliens getting interragated, and that was all, so I wonder what the first teaser will be for this?

He reminds me of Bruce Willis from 12 Monkeys in that image, but dare I say... more badass? I'm really digging the exoskeleton on the arm too.

Spoilers I've come across.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
2159.

Two classes of people exist: the very wealthy "Coordinators," people who can afford bio-genetical engineering, who live on an advanced space station called Elysium, built by the Armadyne Corporation; and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Rhodes (Jodie Foster), a government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium.

Max (Matt Damon) is an ex-con who lives in Los Angeles and works in one of Armadyne's factories, that manufacture robotic surveillance drones. One day, Max is mortally wounded in an accident and seeks help from a powerful local crime lord (Wagner Moura) that has access to advanced medical technology stolen from Elysium. The crime lord tells Max that the only technology that can cure him is on Elysium, and he can help Max infiltrate the station if, in exchange, Max helps the crime lord to steal the security codes from Armadyne's CEO (William Fichtner), allowing the crime lord and his men to invade Elysium and take control of it.

Max agrees, and receives biotechnological implants that include a transmitter to steal the codes directly from the CEO's mind and transfer them to the crime lord's computer. Max then intercepts the CEO's spaceship as it is about to leave Earth for Elysium, and it eventually crash-lands. Max steals the codes, but learns that they were programmed with counter-measures if stolen, and will shut down his nervous system if he removes them from his own mind.

Max seeks his ex-girlfriend (Alice Braga) and learns that their daughter has Leukemia, which can only be treated aboard Elysium. Max then joins forces with his friend Julio (Diego Luna) to invade Elysium and lead all the people that were left behind there. Upon learning of this, Secretary Rhodes hires a mercenary (Sharlto Copley) to eliminate Max, but Max manages to kill the assassin after a drawn-out fight.

With the codes, the crime lord and his men enter Elysium and take control of it, stealing the power from Secretary Rhodes' hand. The crime lord then announces that all the illegal immigrants will be made into legal citizens and be transported to Elysium to leave in equal terms with the surprised Coordinators.
