and they have been doing that for a while. Top heel geezer wants to hold the young guys back while the top face geezer puts them over, or the top heel geezer lead the new guys to a hostile takeover against the face guys. Either way, the irony lies in the fact that the new guys get little tv time during these angles anyway.

Basically WCW 2000 all over again in many ways. Its even the same people arguing about the same stuff.

As far as I know, their ratings are not very good despite the name recognition they have(TNA). This is why they had to move their show.

Anyway, the Summerslam card looks decent. I have not watched a PPV since 'Mania. Like I said, I only watch here and there but usually tune into the big PPVs. They're also a good starting point to catch up on for guys like me. I saw Raw last monday and was surprised to see Bret Hart still around. His time's about up I assume. Unfortunately I do not get the channel that SD is on(Mynetworktv- something crappy like that) so I only hear what goes on. Is Undertaker retired?

You're really not missing much. SmackDown is quite possibly the most incredibly boring 2 hours of television that I still force myself to tune into in the hopes that some exciting wrestling moment might happen.

Alas, it never does

If I watch it on DVR, I usually get through the 2 hour show in 20 minutes - watch the opening promo, the big time half way mark promo, and the main event.

And no, Undertaker isn't retired, he's taking injury time off.

ARREST OF WWE DIVA TIFFANY CONFIRMED, LATEST KNOWN DETAILS

By Mike Johnson on 2010-08-13 20:07:16
pwinsider.com

WWE Diva Tiffany, real name Taryn Terrell was actually arrested at 8 AM on Sunday 8/8 in West Los Angeles, California. She was charged with a misdemeanor (I believe assault, but the police report I was provided did not make that clear) against her husband, WWE star Drew McIntyre.

A domestic disturbance between the two led to both security and later police being called to a hotel, which is not named in the report. Terrell was taken into custody and booked into the Van Nuys Valley Jail at 10:26 AM. She was released on $20,000 bail at 4:55 PM later that afternoon.

McIntyre was not taken into custody or charged.

Terrell is scheduled for a hearing on 9/2 at the Los Angeles Municipal Court, Division 141. WWE immediately sent Terrell home once they were made aware of the situation.

The earlier date and location of her arrest were incorrect and I apologize for the error. The confusion in the dates seemed to come from Terrell not being at TV in San Jose this past Tuesday.

There is a lot of talk among WWE performers that Terrell may end up released as she was in town representing the company as part of Summerslam week and performers have been let go in the past when there were incidents at hotels during Wrestlemania week.
As of right now, the official stance is that Terrell is "indefinitely suspended."

TIFFANY REMOVED FROM WWE SMACKDOWN OPEN

By Mike Johnson on 2010-08-13 21:54:32
All shots of WWE Diva Taryn "Tiffany" Terrell were removed from the Smackdown opening video, replaced by shots of Michelle McCool and MVP. Obviously, that is going to continue to fuel speculation she is about to be released by the company, the possibility of which is something a lot of wrestlers have been talking about today.
I wonder what happened to set her off that bad?

Rhino was released in very similar circumstances so I reckon it's curtains for her.

They used to carry two belts, but teddy made them give one back...so they simply broke the belt they had into that ridiculous co-title.

For some reason twitpics don't show for me. Might have to be a member. Oh well. I;ll forget about it in a few- what were we talking about?

I haven't mentioned it because I wasn't much of a fan of his, but it's sad to read about the death of Cade. Young man, shouldn't happen to anyone at that age. I'm guessing it's a reaction from abusing pills as he did over the years.

I hope Drew wasn't creeping...

If Tiffany gets released, will it affect her relationship with Drew? They've only been married for a few months.
