To me, spree shootings like that one are a form of domestic terrorism. There are those who think terrorism can only describe a Jihadist attack from a foreign cell, but I think that's a narrow interpretation that misses the point a bit.

There is a difference since one would come with the rights and privileges of the Constitution. The other (as you can see from renditions, Guantanamo and Predator drone strikes) does not.

I thought it was pretty sad that when the news broke ABC was referring to the suspect as a potential terrorist and when they found out he was white they started calling him "the shooter" instead.

You don't need dark skin to be a terrorist ABC.

I've been watching 9/11 shows all day and although this occured to me years ago,I ask it now: Why in the hell didn't we go to war against terrorism and Bin Laden in 1993 when the first World trade center attack took place?? They attacked us on US soil,but just because the towers didn't fall then(like they planned)we let it go? I know we went after a few of the people responsible for that specific attack,but that should've been enough for us to go after the entire terror network.

That is probably the one thing I have held against Clinton over the years.....BUT, I think he holds that against himself as well. Or, the fact that Bin Laden was pretty much handed to us by Sudan's government, and we did nothing....
