Thundercrack that is spot on, I love that this team doesn't have like massive amounts of funding. It makes it so real and the fact that they drive around in a Mini-van and not a Black SUV is just hilarious.

That shot was fantastic! I love the way he banks it off the middle spine of the vent. On a side note for the Battlestar Galactica fans, do you guys also think "Hey, look there is one of the final five" or "Hey, that's a Cylon", when you see an actor that played a Cylon? I know I do it often. |

I enjoyed the pilot and really liked the use of their powers. It seems to be written well in that department and the story seems to be interesting. I think the weakest element is the characters to be honest...I hope the actors just need to grow into their roles. It is a pilot after all.

These are two good ideas. I would probably change the shapeshifter a bit. Instead of just anger it's any strong emotions, so even though this shapeshifter has this cool power he/she can't really enjoy it because it won't work if they are too happy.

Photographic reflexes and voice mimicry would be pretty sweet.

Tonight's episode was pretty good.
I read in another forum a discussion that has me thinking: Warehouse 13 currently has TWO confirmed "Alphas": One that has the ability to sense lies, and another that has "spidey sense" like abilities. Not sure if it counts, but Myka has been confirmed to have photographic memory. Then there's Eureka's Jack Carter who *might* be an Alpha with his preternatural situational awareness and ability to always choose a correct path no matter how absurd it seems and how complicated the situation is, even to the scientists. I see a crossover in the future.

The crossover would probably be with Warehouse 13 and Alphas.

Does anyone here watch Fringe? There was a guy in the alt universe that had a similar ability to Marcus'.
The episode was great and developed more on what the Ghost said to Cameron about which side he was on. The only thing I didnt get is why they didnt show any of the Alphas' reactions to Nathan shooting an unarmed Marcus which is what Im assuming he wanted Dr Rosen and the Alphas to witness.

I think the reason they never showed the alphas reaction was because none of them is as important to changing the outcome Marcus forsees as Dr.Rosen.

Yeah. I think it's Rosen that's crucial in what Marcus was attempting to do. I was halfway expecting Rosen to talk about not taking anyone to the Binghampton facility anymore after that.

Im liking where the series seems to be heading.
Theyre registering Alphas and those that are deemed dangerous are sent to Binghamton. Probably in the beginning it may have been for rehab therapy but now it seems like TPTB are starting to look into eliminating Alpha abilities and MAYBE recruiting them for wetwork type missions. You have Red Flag which Im assuming is comprised of Alphas who're fighting back against the government. And then theres Marcus who is the wildcard like Rosen.

The second episode was really good. I'm glad that Marcus survived because it would be a shame to kill off a cool character so early. Can't wait to see next week's episode. The preview looked nice.

Wow fantastic episode! Those rage spores from that alpha were brutal! I loved the way those scenes were shot. I didn't see Wilson's death coming.

wow, what a cool show. at first i thought the concept was rehashed, but damn, this show doesn't pull punches with its content, it really surprised me tonight, and the powers displayed are really interesting. they're superpowers, but they're not all that fantastical in nature.

I was mildly entertained by the latest episode til that office scene that was freaking intense. The way it was shot, the brutality and the agent dying, never saw it coming at all.

Those rage scenes had 28 Days Later vibe all over it. Good stuff.
