I noticed a Datsik tag on the dumpster that the skater kid was rooting around in.

I knew the teacher was doing something with Rosie. They were paying too much attention to him for him to be a nobody

I also got the impression that Stanley was in the mob.

This is quality stuff, unrelentingly bleak but gripping, the silver palette they are using makes it one of the most visually impressive shows on TV and creates a tense atmosphere.

The acting all round is excellent, especially Stan and Mitch, they feel so authentic in their grief. I didn't feel they needed to add in some kind of mob link for Stan but cool to see old Hutch in work though.

The reveal at the end about Rosie's teacher seemed likely, he was just too interested and too prominent from the moment Holder tried to get him to bite on their first meeting. Of course it looks like Rosie may have just been helping him with the Richmond campaign, most probably linked to that youth outreach basketball program.

There could be more to it than that. I mean those letters to Rosie Sarah found indicate something more. Then again, we all thought by the end of the last episode, the two boys raped Rosie, so anything could happen.

Just goes to show how stupid teenage girls can be. They're just as bad as us at that age.

"Oh, he's so deep and understands me by writing letters!"

"Oh, he's dark and mysterious and that's not going to effect the relationship down the line or anything!"

I can understand Sterling getting led on by the boys, but really, it's better not to get hooked up with a chick like that. Too much emotional baggage.

I'm a senior and this show just reminds me of how teenagers don't know **** at all. Everything is so important to them in high school but it doesn't mean ****. Teenagers are selfish, inconsiderate, material, narrow minded *******s for the most part.

Man, I know its not those officers' fault for leaving the door open with the pics of Rosie's corpse but I still felt pissed at them.

As soon as the priest said God was there for them all, I knew the mother was gonna go off on him, and he deserved it too. I mean, really guy? Youre going to tell the mother of a dead child who was bound and drowned in a car trunk that God was there for her. Friggin idiot.

I did not see that coming with the teacher *maybe* having an sexual affair with Rosie. Could still be an emotional one until she was done with high school.

It could be emotional, but I don't think it was sexual. They seemed to have things in common and she could go to him with her troubles, and they met at that place.

The place seemed sketchy though, but maybe that's where they're trying to toss us.

I agree that this doesn't mean it was sexual. I think this is just the writers at it again, misdirecting us.

Indeed. It wouldn't be a show if the reveal happened this soon. There has to be more to it. It's just he question of what it is.

I try to get out of my mind that the mother or father did it. My main suspect is Gwen. Richmond is still a possibility.

I'm thinking it was the aunt, Mitch's younger sister.

However we may not have even seen the killer.

Just thinking back to Veronica Mars, the character who turned out to be the killer didn't appear in the first few episodes. Highly recommend the first season as it is so addictive with a few season long mysteries.

Never!

I think it's probably one of the politicians or someone working in the campaigns. If the stolen car was as far as it went, then none of those characters would be in the show any longer (or at least they wouldn't be as prominent) as the election storyline seemingly has no relevance to the murder investigation. Seemingly.

Interesting reveal on the political mole, I wonder if Richmond is as decent as he seems or if there is a guilty conscience at play.

Linden's observation that the killer could be a professional and that Rosie may have seen something she shouldn't was interesting, and would fit the murder into the political race such as the development plans the Mayor has.

I'm guessing that was Holder's ex and kids he was putting the money in the mailbox for, I wonder where he got it.

I also get the feeling Stan is about to do something he'll regret to Bennett.

It's interesting that Stan's friend is in second place. What's his motive?
