Darwin's powers allow him to adapt to anything that threatens his life. It's called 'reactive EVOLUTION' in the comics and Angel Salvadore has a physical MUTATION. She looks like a normal girl but just has insect wings (and acidic saliva).

Let's put one and one together shall we?

"Mutation: It is the key to our Evolution ..."

Exactly....I remember those days very well. The same thing happened with Wolverine. Some people will watch any X Film, regardless of quality, regardless of the numerous unecessary mess ups. The sad thing is that people watch the crappy x films.

Nah, I didn't even follow Wolverine cause I didn't care. Same with Wolverine 2.

I don't know if this will bomb but I do think out of the four superhero movies coming out next year it will gross the least. It has very steep competition.

And they call us fanboys. lol

how will this work anyways considering Cyclops and Emma appeared in Wolverine Origins. And then Magneto and Xavier were still together and on the same side when they went to go see a young Jean.
What a mess.

This.

The last two movies opened huge, but plummeted in their second weekends. Audiences have been burned twice by the X-Men franchise now and the brand-name has lost its luster with many. First Class will open well, but it's going to be a ***** to get the general public to care like they used to.

How about we discuss the movie instead of blasting people for having the audacity to disagree with you?

I think Singer and Vaughan are disregarding Wolverine and possibly X3.

last I checked I didn't attack anyone either. :P Is it not true that some people defending the movies Wolverine and X3 up until opening day despite news after news showing that it was going to be a bad movie? Just making a point here that the same situation can apply here in regards to F-Class.

Or it's simply possible that they liked the movie in spite of bad reviews from critics and fans alike. It's called a difference of opinion, and we all must respect that. It's not that hard.

Wasn't really blasting anyone, but ok.

i like the fact that it's set in the 60s

but no Cyclops or Jean is a major mistake

i think this movie is going to fail massively

they should have just made it a revamp and have Cyclops, Jean, Iceman, Beast, and the Professor - the original team

i'm not feeling this movie. then again, i kind of stopped caring after X3 and Wolverine

with the weird timeline and some characters appearing or not appearing contradicting all the other movies, it might as well be a revamp.

Xavier, Magneto, and Emma are enough to bring fans.

The title X-Men will secure the general audience, along with good word of mouth.

Look at INCEPTION. Almost entirely banked on the director/producer's previous credits, the star power attached, and good word of mouth.

You're comments betray a lack of understanding as to how this industry works.

Bingo

now we know that this movie is indeed made to reboot the franchise. they will continue with these movies instead of trying to add on to what was left in x3. im just glad we will see costumes. i am however not happy to see cyclops and jean out of the movie. maybe there will be some kind of time travel or alternate timeline thing that happens in this. i just really wanted to see cyclops. his powers are made for the big screen. optic blast! one of the best parts of the first x-men movie was the visor and beam cyclops had. seeing that on screen was awesome.
