That is a must. I can't see how they would not have her in it. Off topic a bit, but did you guys know that Heavenly Sword 2 was in production but it was canceled? That sucks.

I like the idea of that fight because the second one of them slips up they've quite brutally lost an arm or leg or have been fatally stabbed.

Nariko could have been Sony's female Kratos, one of their premier female heroines. I cant believe they dropped the ball so hard on the Heavenly Sword IP. There's no reason it couldnt have gotten big like GoW

Heavenly Sword and Odyssey: Journey to the West were made by Ninja Theory. Neither game sold enough. Both games were supposed to get sequels.

To be fair HS was released before the PS3 was even out a year. The user base was relatively small back then. Another game released today would most likely do alot better.

Please look at the publisher label for that game. It was also a multiplatform game that has had no significant bearance in PlayStation history.

The way I see it is that if Sony already owns the God of War IP, why should they invest in a God of War rip-off that is nowhere near as good? I'd rather see Sony invest the money in their great IPs like LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Sly Cooper, and God of War as opposed to ones that just aren't so great. And I'd like to see them develop new IPs instead of focusing on bland ones.

I dont see why both cant exist. It will have been 3 years between the last console GoW game and the next. A Heavenly Sword sequel could have been released in that time span. If Sony kept to your logic then why have 2 FPS series co-exist at the same time (Resistance and Killzone)? Those were probably worst in that they kept having their releases come out the same year. HS and GoW could have been spaced out. Heck the first Killzone was deemed awful by most, but Sony throw tons of money into its sequel and stuck with it and with Killzone 2, its become one of its better IPs of this gen. HS had a great backstory to it and could have been developed into a great franchise with a proper sequel that improved upon the original's shortcomings.

LOL...I just thought what if Megaman was in this? What if Capcom put Cole in SFxTK as a guest character in exchange for Sony putting one of theirs in their game? If they did do that, it better not be fatso

Now if Sega would release their own mascot Smash clone, I would be very happy.
More mascot brawlers can't be a bad thing, right?

Looking forward to this, even if it's just for Ratchet. He makes this an insta buy for me. The game needs an Ape from Ape Escape too, or at least Spike and his moves could all be the different gadgets he's used over the course of the series.

Arc the Lad could end up being the Marth/Ike of the game.

Also the game needs either Dart or Rose from Legend of Dragoon. Imagine how fantastic a dragoon super would look.

There have been a ton of interesting set pieces and environments in PlayStation history that could make for awesome levels, actually. Uncharted 2's train (complete with attack-helicopter), any one setting from a thatgamecompany game, the top of Outer Haven, a Clossi-scaling level. Pretty exciting.
