Default Who unfortunately paid to see Batman and Robin in theaters?

I did when i was 16 on opening day and was absolutely stunned on how awful the movie was as i was suffering and wanted to walk out of the mall theater, i couldn't until the film was over and my mom would pick me up.

One of the worst movie going experiences of my life

Unfortunately I did, too. I went to see it with my friends and one of my cousins. We all hated it. Could not believe how bad it was. We kept naming off all the horrible cheesy scenes and one liners. Those of us who knew Bane from the comics and animated series were flabbergasted how much Schumacher destroyed him.

It wasn't a surprise when another Batman never happened after that. One of the worst theater going experiences of my life as well. Needless to say I only went to see it once.

Yep. I went and saw it opening day with my brother. We were horrified, but managed to sit through the whole thing. I remember we both got up as the "team" put their hands in as Alfred said they needed a bigger cave. When we got home our folks asked us "How the movie was" to which we both replied with varying comments about how it sucked. My mom actually said, "Aww, I'm sorry."

I did too. During the very first scene I leaned over to my friends and said "Let's leave guys" but they wouldn't go with me. Before the movie even finished we were standing by the door at the back waiting for the credits to start.

Worst thing I've seen in the theatre. Wish they'd have left with me like I wanted and I could've gotten my money back.

I didn't see it when it came out. Can't remember why, because I was a huge fan of Batman Forever. Maybe it was because of the bad reviews, or I just wasn't into Batman at that point.

Yeah, me to. Didn't want to, felt I had to. A greased slide descent to into hell, and then it happened: the bat credit card! The horror, the horror.

Why wouldn't Batman have a credit card? He probably owns a bank being he is a billionaire, so he could issue himself a credit card, without anybody asking questions.

I saw it opening night as well at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. I tried to like it... I tried quite a bit. I walked away focusing on Poison Ivy, which I thought was the best part of the film.

sadly,I was there opening day, too. I think the 4:00 show? sadly i had 2 omens that should've warned me of the horror to come:

1) a nearly empty theater, only maybe 5 or 6 other people. compared the Batman,BR, and BF which had massive crowds here opening day for all the shows.

2) literally,as I walked to my seat, I slipped on some butter from popcorn someone had dropped on the floor and fell sideways between the rows of seats. I'm glad I was just stunned, but still...it was like a higher Power was telling me NOT to sit down and watch the movie!

Went with my parents. Think i was like 12 at the time.

Funny story though. I went out to go to the toilet, then came back in, couldn't find my parents so sat in an empty seat at the back. Noticed the film was about 5 minutes behind. As a kid i didn't think much of it. Then all of a sudden my dad comes in and sits beside me saying he couldn't find where mum was.

After about 15 minutes my dad finally twigged something was wrong so we went outside the screen to find my mum hysterical! She thought i'd been kidnapped or something!

What actually happened is i went to the toilet and went back into the wrong screening! My dad did exactly the same thing! Funny times.

But yea after that we went back out to Leicester Square and had TGI Fridays for dinner

I wish they had RottenTomatoes back then.

Could've saved myself the humiliation.

I saw it twice in theaters because I thought it was so good. I had the soundtrack, a bunch of toys, and the VHS tape. I feel sorry for the people who had to buy that crap for me.

Hmm, I hadn't thought about it quite like that. Thinking about it... calculating... output = movie actually got worse.

Yeah just messin' with ya. I was so angry when I saw it in the theatre.

I too enjoy it now, for those very same different reasons I suppose.

I saw it in it's first week of release. It was really quite bad. There is nothing worse than paying and having to sit through a bad movie. I think having a root canal done would have been more enjoyable than sitting through that.
