Nice artwork.

Watched the Minstrel two parter. How he could use high pitch signals to crumble buildings. Bane's earthquake machine eat your heart out!

The West show is what made me love Batman when I was about 3 years old. It's so damn awesome. It always pisses me off when people criticize it and say it's not the true Batman. They don't understand how important this show has been and how it really made Batman a true cultural icon.

And most of all, this show is so damn fun. The batusi is the best dance ever. And Julie Newmar was a gorgeous catwoman. also, it's great to see how Jim Carrey took Gorshin as an inspiration to play the riddler in BF.

Anyone who says it's not a true Batman is ignoring all those years of campy comics it's based on. It's one of the most faithful adaptions of the Batman comics ever put on screen.

Must have been such a thrill for Wally to be cast as The Riddler in the Arkham series.

Exactly. But to some people, Batman can only be a dark brooding character. which is sad, because everyone can find a version to love. I Love nearly all portrayals of the character. The campy era is very fun. The brave and the bold cartoon managed to bring that campiness back, and was very good.

I can understand people not liking a campy Batman when they prefer him to be dark or are used to him being dark etc. But it's factually wrong to say it's not a true version of Batman because there's years worth of comics to disprove that.

Yes The Brave and the Bold cartoon has brought the campy era back into the limelight successfully.
