Poor Burt...

Adam had an amazing career all things concerned, but Burt just fizzled out.

I doubt he'll get a Hollywood walk of fame star.

They probably filmed this occasion or documented it somehow for the Blu-ray set when it comes one day. I think there were rumours West and other people connected to the show recorded material in advance. It's pretty sad, really. We probably won't see what they've done for another 10, 20 30, 40, 50 (how long will this go on?) years after Adam and Burt leave us.

According to Adam West's biography Burt retired from acting. He was never going to be a star. Adam never left show biz.

I am so happy for him that he got his walk of fame star. He looks over the moon about it. Long overdue. Better late then never.

Great to hear he's a fan of Nolan's movies. He's a man of good taste

Burt Ward is such a tool. I still laugh at him trying to get his hair insured to this day. The story about him running away from Bruce Lee like a sissy while shooting the Batman/Green Hornet episode also cracks me up. Especially since it made the rest of the cast and the crew burst with laughter.

So the "Return to the Bat-cave" portrayal was incredibly accurate. And in fact it felt short!

Wait a minute, he actually tried to get his hair insured? I thought that rumor about his buying Yvonne Craig's Batgirl costume was wild.

I watched about 4-5 episodes last night on my youtube app through my XBOX. I haven't watched any episodes in years, so I'll probably be going through every episode this month.

Yeah Burt was young, new to Hollywood, and it was his first acting job. He had a lot of teething problems.

Are you watching them randomly or in order of season? No that it matters because the continuity was loose at best.

I'm back in the 60s Batman groove. Watched the Egg Head two parter. Vincent Price was good in the role. Good to see more of West as Bruce Wayne as well. During the episode Egg Head makes a comment about wanting to reveal Batman and Robin's identities, and that once he does so, their careers are effectively over. I found this quite poignant and a little sad, thinking about TDKR and 'the legend ends'. No endless stories like in the comics, animated series or TV show.

Love this bit: http://youtu.be/iOkPaSwXC6s

I love the Chief Screaming Chicken character in that episode. He was hilarious.

Bit of trivia about that episode; in the big egg fight at the end of it, Vincent Price started a real life egg fight between the cast and crew after the director yelled cut. Adam West set it was hilarious and the place was a huge mess at the end, and offered an apology to who ever had to clean it all up after they all went back to their trailers lol.

That's brilliant.

That's from the art episode he did in season 2, which I think Burton might have been inspired by because at the beginning of the episode Joker bursts into the museum with his men and spray paint all over the priceless art works because he thinks they're ugly.
