Those are just concepts. I'm sure they just put Obama's face on there to use as an example. I think someone even pointed out earlier that the current president's face can't be put on our currency.

He's only the first black president of a country with a history marred by racism. I could see Obama being put on our currency in perhaps a hundred years or so. Besides, Alexander Hamilton is on the ten, and that's only because he was the first Secretary of the Treasury.

Well, we're kinda getting into territory we don't need to with the whole "who deserves/don't deserve to be on the money" argument, but in general, I would say dead people deserve it the most. If you're still living, you don't get to be on it. They say no one appreciates you until you're dead, I say damn right we don't.

Maybe the artist thought the presidents should be like Roman emperors and have their portraits on money while they're in office.

Alexander Hamilton was more important than Jefferson (2), Jackson (20), Grant (50) and Franklin (100).
