My point is as Superman he should be filmed to look taller than "most" other men in scenes, and not regularly have normal men towering over him in every shot like in L&C TV show.

In other words film him at angles and perspectives that display him as looking tall. Should not be too hard as he is 6'1" already.

Not saying they need to get out a measuring tape to look exactly 6'4" in each frame. Just that he look "tall" in general as he is filmed.

A tall clark kent really hurts the whole disguise concept, i only know about 2 people that tall.

I've seen Cavill tower over most of the Tudor cast, he's fine.

If his ridiculously broad shoulders haven't given him away, his height should go undetected by the citizens of Metropolis too.

You'd be surprised how much bad posture can change your whole appearance.

But as Superman he is obviously wearing the elevator shoes, but as Clark, in the set pictures we have seen, he is wearing regular casual shoes. The suit makes him look a lot bigger, and the boots will make him look taller. Of course, that is not something that is going to be explained in the movie, so I assume, as Superman he is going to look taller next to Lois than he will as Clark.
