I decided to try one today as I hadn't had one in years, and promptly ate the inside while discarding the cardboard-esque outer crust. Are these things still popular?

It was so good.

I hadn't had one in 5 years.

Popeyes has some good ass Apple pies. They're kinda like the McDonalds ones, only more cinnamony.

I eat them from time to time but much perfer the McFlurry ... caramel oreo ... DANG those oreos ... sweet chocolaty goodness ...

I haven't had one in awhile. The last time I was there they were pushing cherry pies but were all sold out.

I eat them not infrequently. Usually, I have bad luck when it comes to Apple Pies at McDonald's because they always seem to be out of apple pies when I want one.

I think the perfect one is those large Hershey bars. If you get it just right in the microwave, it'll be hard on the outside and soft on the inside, but it will be hot enough to eat with a spoon.

Damn good eating.

I never liked apple pies...I took a piece from my friend last year and was addicted to it...but other than this I don't eat M's anymore

If you want to include home-made?

Ice Cream with Peanut Butter sauce. You take PB, honey, Brown sugar and a little milk, mix, microwave for 25+/- seconds and pour over the ice cream ... not too runny, kind of thick. If you are into PB it rocks.

In fact, I just have to go have some now!
