I havn't seen any of the Indiana Jones movies and I don't want too. I don't really like Harrison Ford.
Same with the Social Network. I don't care how good people say it is, i dont want to watch a movie about that nerd creating facebook.

Where do I start?
I have a phobia of silent films from the 20's. It took everything I had to get through Metropolis and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Why the hell do some of those need to be more than 2 hours 30 minutes long? Why the hell do some of those need to be four hours long?

It's just that, those people are all dead, they where dead decades before I was born. And they're on my TV, walking around soundlessly in fuzzy black & white like they're ****ing GHOSTS!

Rocky is one of my favorite movies since I was a kid yet I've never seen a single sequel.
Same goes for First Blood. I haven't seen any of the Oscar nominated films this year except Toy Story 3. But I want to see Black Swan. Godfather is one of my favorite films but I haven't seen 2 or 3. I haven't seen any of the Harry Potter films. I haven't seen any of the Friday the 13th sequels. I've never seen the original Dracula or Mummy. Never seen such classics as Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane, or Lawrence of Arabia. Never seen a single Star Trek or Planet of the Apes films.

I liked your idea. I started out trying to make my own version, but it was getting way too long.

Ah, the embarrassing list of a film lover's blind spots. Well, here are my more notable ones:
any French New Wave film Rashomon Yojimbo and Sanjuro Election The Sound of Music West Side Story any of the Friday the 13th films A Clockwork Orange Mulholland Dr. any Robert Altman movie with the exception of The Player any John Ford or John Wayne movie with the exception of The Searchers Blood Simple The Big Lebowski Being John Malkovich (I just saw Adaptation for the first time a few days ago, so this is a priority now.) Escape from New York The Thing from Another World and its remake, The Thing The Big Sleep Sergio Leone's "Man with No Name" trilogy Rosemary's Baby The Omen ('76) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ('74) (That's not to say that I've seen the remakes of those, I haven't, but who cares about the remakes?) The Thief of Bagdad (any version, but I'm especially thinking of the 1940 version) Mr. Smith Goes to Washington The Red Shoes The Mummy ('32) 8 1/2 JFK Wall Street Schindler's List Dances with Wolves (This one is for a reason, I find Kevin Costner a pretty uninteresting actor. I won't rule out the possibility that I'll sit down to watch it someday, though.) Double Indemnity The Apartment Seven The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Rope Shadow of a Doubt The Manchurian Candidate ('62) The French Connection Patton The Deer Hunter Bananas Manhattan Hannah and Her Sisters Crimes and Misdemeanors The Usual Suspects Top Gun any Terence Malick film any David Cronenberg film The Seventh Seal All About Eve Spartacus Magnolia The Royal Tenenbaums
