There's two on Netflix stream, and one on DVD, so three total. Two are just their stand-up, and the other is more like a documentary. All of them are good, though.

Comedian is still my favorite. In fact, I'll probably watch that tonight.

I saw some of part 1 on TV once. The woman who stalked Brent Spiner really freaked me out.

Just watched that doc about real life superheros, I forgot the title, but it was pretty sad and fascinating at the same time. One of them, I think his name was Master Legend was really tragic but also kinda charismatic somehow lol.
Anyway I enjoyed it more than Kickass or Defendor. I still have to see Super.

Saw that a couple of months ago. It is really awsome.
I would highly, highly recomend Thrilla in Manila It's even better imo. You can actually just watch it on youtube here but it's well worth picking up on disk. Last edited by Why Are You Crouching Spock?; 09-24-2011 at 06:37 AM. |

For fans of French cinema I recommend Two in the Wave which chronicles Truffaut and Godard's friendship and falling out.

I'm recording a series of doc called "Prohibition". It looks like a nice companion piece to "Boardwalk Empire", one of my favorite shows on TV right now.

Just watched a cool doc on Comedy Central about the making of South Park. I think it's called "6 Days to air."

I haven't watched it yet, but that two parts doc on HBO about George Harrison (the "quiet" Beatle) seems pretty interesting.

Just saw conan obrien's can't stop. Really good doc about his hiatus and tour
I remember seeing 2 docs a long time ago before I even knew what a documentary was. Both about the martial arts action stars. One was top fighter the other cinema of vengeance or maybe it was called Kung Fu fighter can't remember. It had a who's who of martial artist old and new at that time. Talked about the progression from traditional kung Fu to muscle bound to lean real looking fighter types to fantastical styles in cinema. Also comedic and just raw and brutal. It had the full spectrum. The other spoke about each individual martial arts actor and the following generation. What each one brought to the genre.

'Crumb', he does not hold on how quirky he is. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109508/
'Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer', I was afraid to watch this, it was more sad then anything else. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364930/

Crumb depresses me to no end. Charles and Maxon seemed at least, if not more so, talented than R. It's so sad they couldn't over come their mental issues. Seeing Charles on screen is just heart-breaking.
