Historically, the pledge of patriotism has more often than not been used as a smokesceen to make gullible citizens support ethically questionable, even nefarious political agendas. And you clearly seem like the inflexible and abrasive military type usually pulling the strings of said agendas, as portrayed in a number of movies. However, given that this is World War II, one of America´s few well-justified military entanglements, I suppose the pledge might possess actual moral value. Therefore, yes I do, sir!

One slight flaw: Sheldon always refers to them as "comic books," stating that "comics" refers to the often less-than-amusing strips printed in newspapers.
