I think W. will be fine for a while. I do expect that Carter will be gone in a couple of years, followed by H.W. Bush.

Bill and W. though, will be with us for quite some time IMO.

It depends, if Barbara sticks around for awhile so will H.W. I think....if she dies, he will be about a month behind her.

I'd vote for President Clinton if he could run again.

I think Bill will go before H.W.. Bush's lifestyle is better.

I think that Bill will pass away when no one expects it. I think we're soon going to be on a Reagan styled countdown for Carter and H.W. Bush.

He had an upset stomach. Ooooh, terrible Karma.

Besides, with all the humanitarian work this guy has done, you'd think a little ****-talking would do very little to damage his Karma.

Oh, and Karma is ********.

...I think I covered everything I wanted to.

Pardon me if I think there are other ex Presidents who deserve "bad karma" a little more than someone who's done as much humanitarian work as Jimmy Carter has, even if he's not the brightest bulb in the ceiling.

I know, "good for me"...

Yes, good for you too.....

and I agree....

But, in reality...."bad karma" was simply a phrase....didn't real mean for a huge debate over the phrase...

I've said on this very forum that I respect Carter's humanitarian work....

I also respect the humanitarian work that Clinton has done...

The biggest difference in the 2 is one seems to respect others that have gone before and after him... the other doesn't IMO, that's all.

Just 2 years ago Time Magazine was calling conservative movement dead and certain banned posters here were calling Republican party a regional party.

I think Jon Stewart said it best "It's not that Democrats are playing checkers and the Republicans are playing chess, it's that the Republicans are playing chess and the Democrats are in the nurses office because once again they glued their balls to their thighs."

Carter should have stuck to humanitarian work. 5 years ago many (myself included) would have argued that he had the best post-presidency ever. That built a strong legacy for him. Unfortunately, he wasn't happy with that. Towards the end of the Bush administration, he tried to use the failings of the country to become politically relevant again. It failed horribly and now he is once again considered a joke.

The Democratic Party has an uncanny abilty to completely screw themselves over. It really is a shame.
