Post Re: Michael Jackson: 1958-2009

I just want to extend my apologies for my tirade the other day. But I also want to say that my belief hasn't changed. In order for some of you to understand where I'm coming from I ask that you hear me out.

It's in my honest and respectful opinion that Michael isn't dead. I am apart of website called the Michael Jackson Death Hoax investigators and we're a site that has researched, investigated, and saw the events of June 25th aren't adding up to an actual death. This isn't meant to be insulting or degrading, however, if some of you actually visited the site, visited Youtube, and actually listened or read the information you'd see where I was coming from.

I get angry because no one here posts any of his music or discusses his performances. It's always about the drama, the scandals, the death which is a hoax. I'm calling it for what it is. I realize that maybe my posts come off as arrogant and you're right. However, it's not my intention to try and put any of you down. I am just passionate about my beliefs and it's in my opinion that Michael isn't dead.

When I presented this theory IN THIS THREAD I was met with insults, defensive attitudes, name calling, and moderators coming into the thread and threatening to ban me from the thread or telling me I need to stop being delusional. To me I felt that was unfair as my views wasn't respected at all.

But again, my theory/beliefs hasn't changed one bit. I still truly believe Michael isn't dead and this isn't some wishful thinking on my part, it's actual evidence that I have researched and been apart of after June 25th. Believe me, I, like a lot of you had the same response when someone said Michael was disguised as Dave Dave on Larry King. I said "Oh, MJ is dead he wouldn't do that to his fans." Or "You're crazy."

Believe me, I had the same response and I understand. But before I shut them out I actually listened to what they had to say, researched the info, and THEN I saw where they were coming from. But once again, I apologize for any insulting, arrogant, or hateful/angry rant that I presented.

Michael isn't dead. He lives on through his music.

So I don't tend to hit this thread too often, and I am not sure this has been posted before, but I found a very...interesting things floating around the net. The next big Michael Jackson game:

It's an MMO....

I have to agree with Will.I.Am's stance on the new album. If Michael Jackson was half the perfectionist he was said to be, he'd be mortified at tracks without his finishing touches being released.

*attempts to avoid guy who thinks MJ death is a conspiracy/hoax*

The Planet Michael game sounds awesome! But it won't be ready for another year, late 2011. Can't wait though.

Just got the new album, about to give it a listen right now. Looking forward to it but I do have to agree with Poetic Chaos about what Will.i.am said. I don't think MJ would have wanted songs he did not complete or decided to scrap made into an album! Therefore I am not expecting something as great as HIStory. Just a few 'lost' MJ songs that should be interseting to listen to.

I wish they'd use some of his songs from the Ultimate Collection. I doubt many people have heard "We've Had Enough".

I would agree. However, as his finishing touches are simply not an option, I'm not going to deny myself the opportunity to hear new tracks of his.

I thought the new album was a great. I'm a huge Michael fan, and I know that he probably would have made these songs even better than they are, but I thought they were all great.

(I Like) The Way That You Love Me, Keep Your Head, Much Too Soon, Best of Joy, Monster, Hold My Hand, Hollywood....all so good.

I listened to it all day on Tuesday when I ran out to buy the album and honestly, I don't consider these songs "sub-par" in any way. As a fan of Michael's and music in general, I consider this CD as good as his others. Is Thriller still great? Yes. But so are these too and they deserve the recognition that his other work received.

Look, the release of these tracks was a business decision on the part of Sony. We all know that. They probably figure they've already sold us the Ultimate Collection so there's no need to revisit those tracks.
Which brings me to what we've been saying about how he'd feel about these songs being released without his final approval. Bear in mind that we've had demo recordings appear on several albums, ("Working Day & Night", "Wanna Be Startin' SOmethin'"-I could go on and on) along with songs that for one reason or another weren't deemed good enough to include with the original releases ("Streetwalker", "Carousel") not to mention "This Is It"-a compilation of rehearsal footage. I can't say his reaction to this would be any different than how he'd feel about that. An artist can be a perfectionist and still not be ashamed of his unfinished work.

I lucked out. I saw "Michael" at Wal-Mart for just under $12 bucks, & I started to get it but I decided to wait until today-see if my Secret Santa came through. And she did. In addition to a couple of items for the baby, there was the CD in all its glory. And I've been listening to it all day. Whatever misgivings I had about the cover art or Michael's inability to perfect the tracks to his exacting standards, I love this album. I'll be playing it every day for the foreseeable future.

That's great man! I want to go out a buy it so badly...but I'm pretty much on a 'no-buy-for-myself' ban around this time of year by family and friends.
